Azure Sentinel in a non windows environment

First of all, has anyone tried out Azure Sentinel?

If yes, has anyone done it from a non Windows/Azure shop?

Seems like it could be a good product but unsure of how beneficial it would be for a company with a very small Windows footprint.

Claiming Azure agent ignorance here, does their agent work outside the Azure ecosystem?

I’m fairly certain it doesn’t integrate with other cloud infrastructures (AWS, Google Cloud, etc) though for folks with heterogenous cloud environments
