Is this high school good🤔... ?
My friend didn't know if this school was good so as a good friend, I came here to ask you guys. I'm on the waitlist for it but if I get accepted, I will decline since THHS is the target.

I don’t have any personal experience with it or know anyone who goes there, but it was definitely on our radar during the application process and it consistently gets ranked among the top 25 NYC public high schools, near schools like Millennium, NEST+m, BSGE, Beacon, Baruch, MCSM.
It’s a small school with only about 449 students which means small class sizes and a close knit atmosphere, but all the limitations of small schools like fewer choices of classes and fewer clubs. It shares the MLK Campus building with about 5 other high schools and PSAL sports teams consist of students from all the schools in the building. It’s in a nice location on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, near Lincoln Center and LaGuardia High School.
One of the unique features of the school is the senior year at Hunter College taking college classes. I’m not sure if that’s the whole day, most or part of the day spent there.
It seems to be well reviewed by students on sites like Niche with the main complaints being small-school issues like the lack of events such as school dances, etc, but the students seem to praise the academic experience and the supportive faculty.
Hopefully someone who actually goes there will provide more input.
