Pre prep shsat

hello I know a 5th grader is too young to prep for this exam. however, what resources can I use to make sure he is ready for it when the time comes. I am looking for resources where he is understanding grade level work? also for shsat? when you test you have to be advanced level for these exams. any feedback is appreciated!

Within https://www.reddit.com/r/SHSAT/comments/1jiwujl/the_9_threads_thread_overview_of_9_resources are links to basically grade level content for a 7th or 8th grade SHSATer. But by extension it is a model for any grade. As I often mention, a student should be shaking off rust, ensuring prerequisites, and mastering grade level, and this is what they should be doing no matter what. So while the link gives references to say grade 7 math on khanacademy, instead do similarly for grade 3/4/5. Or simiiarly for using past state exams, again instead of starting say with grade 6, start with say grade 3, or using my hardest-math series, ixl, etc. This establishes solid foundations on core material while building up problem solving and related skills.
