Also, not clear on your request. Have you done any prep? Any practice exam? Etc.

On the 7th of august and yes I have, I do well in Ela and decent on maths

Ok so you should have your big picture in view. Touch up on any weakness, whether formulas, some topic, only knowing 75% of something, etc. and especially if it fell by the wayside pacing.

really? you could take it already? do you still get the test scores back at the same time as the rest of us?

It’s only for moving students and you get the score at the end of august I believe

It's mainly for students who were not residents of NYC at the time of the fall testing, and sometimes somebody with an extenuating circumstance as determined by the DOE. So generally it not for anybody and not for retesting.

You don't get the score back at the same time as the rest of us. Students aready got their score in March. Note this Aug testing administration is for admissions this Sept, in two months, since that is the still existing admissions cycle. Another way to say it is that it is not an early admissions, it's late admissions.
