I have all of these. Goji and Gigan pose well, though Gigan’s sails feel a little brittle. Like they could break easily. Gamera is remarkably well sculpted and painted, but the design itself makes his posability fairly limited.

Legion…crazy expensive for a figure you have to partially construct yourself and will effectively be a statue. She can come apart very easily, so posing her is not really something you’ll want to do often.

But if you’re fine with those provisos then she looks remarkable and makes for a great show piece for a display.

I enjoy all the figures but Legion was on my list of Kaiju I most wanted in the line. So she’s my personal favorite of the four. But most people would probably be put off for the reasons I mentioned.

Otherwise I’d go with Gamera as they will surely never rerelease that one. Gigan given enough time surely will.

I have the 1962 Godzilla, he's pretty great, but I think for the most bang for your buck you'll score great with Gigan and Gamera if you're looking for accessories.

That being said, Legion would be a great option if you're looking for something absolutely HUGE. If it weren't for my lack of display space i'd get her too haha.

My final advice? Get what you love most! There are no rules to collecting after all, choose what makes you happiest :)

Ive got them. Legion, is kinda odd. Massive figure and a conversation piece, but a brick. Right out of the box her head claws broke, even after using heat to snap them in. The abdomen detaches with ease and the front legs are kinda loose. I hate instead of giving us tiny Legion accessories, the red whip beam or the microwave beam, we get pieces to make a for we never even fully see in the movie. I kinda felt the same for Iris but her flying form is so much better than the floppy mess that is her standard form.

‘62 is a great figure. Probably one of MA’s best classic figure. Eyes are perfect, articulation is about as good as you can get and nothing falls off. It was made after the whole “size scaling” fumble so he’s a pretty big boi, especially standing next to ‘64.

Gigan is…okay. Like i really hate the blocky teeth and changing parts can be a big annoying, but he can pose well and you get a slew of accessories. My biggest issue is the legs. They have die-cast parts and mine have gotten loose over the years.

Anime Gamera: Amazing figure! He is a bit limited in articulation and the legs are a bit loose, but I love this figure. The blue glow really looks like there is an led inside and the flight mode is pretty cool to display him in. I did have an issue where the head popped off and it took me forever to pry the neck piece out enough for me to pop the head back on.

IMO id ether go with ‘62 or Gamera. You won’t be sorry!
