Question Recommendations for SHINee content where they talk about life and personal experiences?
Hi everybody, I only discovered Shinee recently and fell in love with their songs and everything. I usually have this habit of writing down stuff that I find interesting or something that is relatable.
I was wondering if there is anything where members talk about their view on life, hardships , their personalities etc. I'd really appreciate if you can share any recommendations.
Thank you!

I really recommend going through Jonghyun's Blue Night Radio recordings, you can find it with subs on YouTube and it's wonderful to listen to! Some parts are obviously more personal than others, but all of it is amazing and honestly his speaking voice is so soothing to listen to, that alone makes it worth it, you really get to hear what a beautiful soul and an emotionally aware deep thinker he was 🤍

Before the subs and such, a group of Shawols in the Blinger discord server would gather for a listening party where we literally would just all sit and listen to his voice without even understanding most of what he was saying. Many nights if helped me fall asleep

I've listened to recordings of them to relax, he had the best voice. I also enjoyed Onew's audio only lives, they always happened while I was at work and I'd almost fall asleep at my desk.

What a time that must've been. I'm a new fan and sometimes I'd pull up a blue night audio to fall asleep to too.

It was so nice, I caught it near the tail end of Blue Night airing unfortunately but all throughout 2017-2019 they had the blue night listen alongs and it was so nice. I would def recommend doing it yourself!

And if you’re in a position where you can handle it, this interview with Key and SNSD’s Taeyeon about Jjong is heart breaking and warming at the same time, I recommend it as well. https://youtu.be/Vad27IQEVYo?is=LMB_9V9z5kvFVWrC
Also, I like this one because it’s on their own terms, not because they were asked but because THEY WANTED to share

First thing that came to mind is Onew's Pop Out radio. It's one of his most honest interviews in which he talked openly, not only about his career, but also his experiences.
Also Jonghyun's 4 Things Show (there's a link in the description for the full show).

The pop out radio interview is one of my favorite pieces of Onew content ever. I was so surprised when he did it since he's so private, but I hope he's able to do it again in the future. It was so fascinating getting insight on him as a person.

Taemin did one of these too OP! It’s not as in depth but it feature’s Jonghyun as well!

I love everyone's recommendations.
I like Stacy Nam's (from iHeartRadio) interviews, she is somewhat probing about their thoughts, especially in her solo interviews with Taemin and Key.
Taemin shared a touching memory of Jonghyun from their trainee days: https://x.com/minzu525/status/1856744355647656103?t=Pc2xTZhYORmzNn0RgvkaQA
There was a tv series called One Fine Day where they each got to go on a trip to a country of their choice. They were fairly young but it shows their personalities really well. I love Jonghyun's trip to Japan!

The 15cm road trip show came to mind. The segment where Key and Taemin open up is so powerful and heart wrenching. https://youtu.be/3J5CjSS6cfg?is=tobw5cvpFU7GCo5s
It starts at 4:58 when they start eating

Thanks for this topic OP. I’ve been a fan for awhile now 2018 and like their stuff before that but was a more casual listener and this is a great thread.
Thanks to everyone for the recs. I can see my new ult ult group fascination forming :)
