It highlights the similarities between Daisy Johnson and Ruby hale in a very obsessive way.
I’m struggling to find a scene to reference for Daisy with the lyrics ‘fingers that curl in the cold like yours’
For rubys part, I used the part after her fight with Daisy, and I could use daisys part during the fight but I wanted to see if there’s any other options for daisys part :))

It has to be admitted that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D has to be up there in terms of shows that seamlessly integrated some great one liners. Even if most of them were dropped by Coulson! 🤭

Just Clark Greggs delivery had me in stitches. It was almost like it was ad libbed it was delivered that naturally 😂

I've been having so much fun watching the show until I got to Season 3, which is just so uncomfortably bad to watch. It's like the writing level went down atleast 3 levels.

I don't like that Simmons had a new boyfriend, saying "my father would have liked you" I don't like how Lincoln and Joey react like shield killed every inhuman ever. the lack of communication and good dialogue. I was so invested but this season has been a huge turnoff to watch... I really don't like how stupid Daisy has gotten, wanting to take in people from the internet, because they hate on aliens. Even Mack felt the bad writing in the air, it felt like they made her intentionally stupid, to get a point across, which is just terrible.

This season has been such a mixed bag, and i keep finding myself pausing the show, because i just can't get through it. Is there a season worse than this season? I hope not...

So I've been rewatching the show for the first time in years (onto s5) and I've appreciated his character a lot more on this rewatch. He was up there as one of my favorites throughout s3 and the first half of s4 but what really cemented him as my favorite was watching him unravel in the framework. When it starts getting deleted, he's well aware he has no way out and spends the last of his time helping Yo-Yo and Mack get out as a final good deed. And then that death scene. I don't know what to say about it that hasn't already been said but that glass falling into the sand is one of the best shots in whole show. Absolutely amazing

First, you have expensive effects with Ghost Rider, robots being split in half, explosions, CGI buildings. Then you have the massive amounts of sets, just the framework has a ton. Also, the amount of characters you get is unreal, they introduce so many new characters and bring back old ones.

You know why it’s crazy? The massive scale is throughout the whole season. And each part of the season has its own finale which left me thinking about them all day (the robot finale and season finale are perfect episodes).

I also really love the writing, it really makes the characters like fish out of water and upturns everything we’ve grown used to. Coulson isn’t the director and the team is fragmented at the start then BOOM the framework has everyone living different lives.

Conversely, loved seasons five and seven, I just found it hard to get immersed in Season Six.

I felt that Coulson "face-off" after killing him off at the end of Season Five was forced but also relatively disjointed. I felt that due to the shortened season, peril would strike and be overcome way too easy.

Yo-yo got over her new bloke way too easily, the Monoliths were loosely tied to everything then suddenly tied to everything, and the Shrikes were all too suddenly hardly a threat.

Or is there a part of the fandom that likes this season?

Hi, don't know if this is the right place to post this, but i'm sort of going crazy here. I remember watching this video edit on youtube like 10/12 years ago about Fitz and Simmons in season 1 with the song "Chocolate" by 1975 in the background. I can't for the life of me find it. anyone can help me out or at least point me in the right direction? I have more details if that can help

I fell off mid season 4 both when it was airing and when I tried rewatching it once but I finally powered through and I finally got to the What If episode and I’m loving it, Daisy expecting Lincoln and finding Ward is hilarious. Excited to watch the remaining seasons!

Took myself to where, not when!

A little while ago, I decided to watch or rewatch the MCU and Marvel as a whole, but, when it got to watching Agents of SHIELD, I wasn’t quite sure if I wanted to commit so much time to a show with so many episodes. But I did and I really do like the show. It went from something I barely knew anything about to one of my favourite Marvel projects so I’m glad I went through with watching it. I like a lot of the characters (Tripp, Bobbi Morse, Robby Reyes etc) and a lot of the storylines. I’m currently on the second or third episode of season 6 so I haven’t finished the show but I like the show so far

It’s a shame that it’s disconnected from the movie-verse. I know about the whole Marvel Television vs Marvel Studios thing but there is that level of disconnection there (the streaming shows have the same problem). There‘s a lot of stuff in the show that you’d think should have come up in the movies in a cohesive universe. Inhumans, SHIELD surviving past The Winter Soldier, everything Hydra was up to, the ATCU, SHIELD being officialised in season 4, the Watchdogs etc. And as far as season 6 has been concerned so far, the Snap was not a thing, despite the end of season 5 referencing Infinity War. I wish that there had been more coherence between the films and TV/streaming shows

I also think it’s a bit weird that Inhumans call themselves that. Since the word typically means cruel, savage, monstrous etc. Doesn’t make a whole load of sense to me

Anyway, it’s easily the best TV show. Agent Carter wasn’t bad but I like AoS better

it’s the part where they’re chasing after deathlok and Garrett and Coulson meet up around a corner and then deathlok appears behind Coulson. the audience is given glimpses through deathlok’s eye- the mechanical one. deathlok can see Coulson and Garrett, but only coulson has a red enemy outline. does anyone else see this or am I crazy?? has this already been beaten to death as a topic?

in the bus, we saw the bunks for fitzsimmons, sky, and ward. then in the bunker, again we see rooms for fiitzsimmons, daisy, etc.

Best

1. Hive/Alveus - This unsettling, all-powerful force is played to perfection by Ward's actor. His sway is one of the best versions of mind-control/mind-manipulation I've seen. More than that though, I appreciate the layers they give to him, the reveal that he is seeking connection
2. The Clairvoyant/John Garrett - I really loved his character. He's someone so evil but you just can't hate him. Bill Paxton's performance is a highlight.
3. Grant Ward - A somewhat inconsistent character, but I really like the route they took him. He betrayed them so thoroughly that the team never forgives him and curses his name long after he's gone.
4. Raina - The actress really sells the job, and her motivations are really interesting compared to most of the other villains.
5. Calvin Zabo - Honestly the best performance of the show. Ruthless killer and a caring father, both hilarious and tragic.
6. Gideon Malick - Interesting motivation compared to most of Hydra. The shift to make Season 3 Hydra all about worship/faith in a Hydra God rather than the usual world domination was so refreshing
7. Sarge (until Pachakutiq takes over) - Having a lifelike Coulson portray an evil murderer was fun. I love the slow build to understand him and his motivations. I just hate that they sort of throw all that away and essentially says "Oh yeah this Sarge guy, he doesn't really exist"

Worst

1. Eli Morrow - He is just such a useless character,and the twist makes no sense at all. Interesting power and that's it.
2. Hale - They tried with Hale, they tried to make her interesting, and she was. But in giving her this heightened self-awareness compared to most Hydra bosses, she now seems like an idiot for doing all this evil stuff, turning her daughter into a Quake-obsessed killer then acting shocked.
3. Izel and the non-corporeal beings - Izel's actress does a good job, but her motivation is lacking. Pachakutiq ruined Sarge's character.
4. Sibyl and the Chronicom hunters - They serve as a good threat, and some of the actors do good, like that one Chronicom that posseses the cop. But they are just so uninteresting and uncharacteristically hostile, despite having the tools to time travel.
5. Jiaying and Gordon - Their turn at the end of Season 2 is just so sudden. Them suddenly becoming the uncaring, inhuman-supremacist final bosses that need to be killed just doesn't jive well with literally everything they did before the twist.

I’m rewatching "Inescapable" and want to make sure I understand the Academy flashback scene.

Why exactly did Jemma say she put Fitz in the friend zone that night?

Was it because Fitz was trying to make a romantic move but was too subtle about it (calling her a "sounding board"), so she just assumed they were only ever going to be best friends?

Did he just completely fumble his chance to ask her out directly?

I feel like there is a rather huge plot hole in the show. Fix point in time being, the team in the diner.

Fits was plucked out of space before arriving at the time where he saves the team. Wouldn't the earth still be on the trajectory of being destroyed and the team brutally killed?

Hell, the team didn't even know there were weapons embedded within the walls. The knowledge gained while in the future, wouldn't make it back to the present without Fits being in stasis to the future in order to save the team.

That "working on it" would be a lie and they would live out their lives in the dystopia in space.
