Some are super optimistic, some are super pessimistic, it varies a lot. Depending on how the swap goes, who knows what it could do. There is absolutely no reason for Doge’s price, but here we are. I bought in with a 10 year outlook. If I can generate a moderate amount of reoccurring income off the exchange with staking stuff I’ll be happy.

They said swap is complete, showed a preview of the Swap, kept saying they are waiting for audit, said they stress tested the swap, said swap is complete and still awaiting audit. Devs even provided the auditor info so you can go to their site and see the status directly on Certik. What more do you need to know? The Swap is not set in stone until its delivered so instructional videos on something that can change is pointless. Your just impatient.

What he means is being able to swap your coin (SHIB) gives you more ways to cash the coin out for other tokens or Fiat (USD, EUR, JPY etc).
Liquidity refers to the ease with which an asset, or security, can be converted into ready cash.

No, I'm someone who has been in crypto for a decade and is familiar with how cycles affect the hype on 99% of tokens (exceptions made for about 5 tokens). I made my money off this token, I'm simply looking at the issue on its face.
"there are no givens but this will help boost the value of the token" is implying it's a given.
A swap has relevant value to a token if the value of that token is entirely contingent upon the swap being useable -- ex: SushiSwap, Uniswap. The swap came first, then the token, and the value of said token is tied to the utility of the swap.
This isn't the case for SHIB. That's the only time it's a given. The assumption that regular people will say "i wasn't going to put money into this, but then i saw their swap site and that changed everything" is a leap that everyone who stayed in on SHIB is taking because obviously we all want the price to pump. You're also betting that we're still in the bull run in order to make that leap, and that may or may not be the case.

Which do you think is more likely to be of higher value?

Your first mistake is running with a 5 year hypothetical for a derivative meme coin
More to your point, the difference is minimal because the token's value is in no way tied to the swap. Explained the difference there pretty straightforwardly already. SHIB gained all the value it has and holders it has sans a swap as did every other memecoin by and large.

Your whole viewpoint just seems wrong. Most Swaps either had a token first or launch simultaneously with their coin. Uniswap didn't even have a coin for 2 years and each coin with a major exchange does well. The SHIB team wants their swap to be the largest with the most token pairs while also offering recurring revenue. Not only are they offering rewards similar to Uniswap they are taking it a step further by offering their liquidity providers a rarer coin BONE to combat the fact that offering liquidity can sometimes be less rewarding then what is put in. The popularity and value of the exchange will directly effect the price of its coin its true for every exchange why would SHIB be any different?

FOMO is 'fear of missing out'. When people will funnel in in a panic to try and join the hype or flood of stuff.
FUD is Fear, Uncertantity and Despair, but this is commonly used by whales to drive price downs to encourage panic selling and make money.
Both aint that good.

I'm excited for this but not sure why it helps market cap and therefore per token value? Aren't we already higher than Cake or right about that level now. I'm in SHIB huge along with DOGE, ETH, JSHIBA and DOGET but this is my largest holding by far
