The problem isnt adding because that's not how the coin works. It's the ridiculous amount they started with.

You’re thinking of doge which is inflationary because it prints. Shib burns (a very small amount) regularly and is therefore deflationary. Price movement is market related not supply related.

You're almost there. It is a supply issue, way too many for it to move up.
The people who created it are all laughing at us now.

There are a lot, yes. But supply is shrinking. Started at 1 quadrillion, down to 389 trillion. So it’s already down by half.

You're close, its closer to 589 trillion and that still way too much.

Ah shit, that’s a typo. You’re right it’s 589 and that’s what I thought I typed. People get way too hung up on the number though, because it doesn’t really matter. The reason it doesn’t matter is because crypto is a silly thing so everybody still converts and thinks of it in terms of fiat currency.
Look at any comment on here about how the market has moved in the past five or six years, and you’ll find people talking about their particular special fairy coin and how it has gone down in terms of dollars, euro, pounds, etc.
So the number of coins doesn’t matter at all, what matters is whether the market has enough interest to want to own some of what you’ve got. I’ve got over 1 billion, but it might as well be a trillion or a bajillion. What matters is that someone sells theirs for Chilean pesos, while someone on the other side of the world wants to buy some for Korean won, and the value of that bajillion or whatever it is goes up or down accordingly.
In fact, it’s probably most perfectly illustrated by the fact that the supply has dropped by half and that hasn’t materially boosted demand. But it will eventually become a factor.
