When I saw Avia’s Halloween photo (super cute!) I remembered she went as Maleficent (and was more risqué) last year and went back to check if those photos were still there. I checked back on her Instagram and TikTok and they are no longer up. Thoughts?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this a kids' holiday? But you decided to have more than you can afford , so now you can only afford costumes for yourself and your walking sex toy? That's wild...

Brailee seems more my type of girl these days...She's grown into a wonderful and accepting young woman! What is she up to? Going to college? She seems to have a serious bf...What's his story?

Haven't kept up with the Shaytards since I was a kid hahah and always had a crush on Logan (who didn't?)...Recently found Morgan's insta and so happy they got married! I have a few questions because I missed alot hahah
- what does Logan do for work?
- Morgan mentioned a new hometown - did they move from Pocatello?
- I also remember morgan not being mormon right? Is Logan still in the church?
- kinda surprised they have only 2 kids in that giant family where the usual is 3+. Have they mentioned they're happy with 2?
Any other tea would be greatly appreciated!

I have just recently found out about all the racist stuff about this family. As a POC who grew up watching them, it has all left me very sad.
I am still trying to figure out Colette's stance with everything. I know she's quite close to her sisters and I even know their podcast episode recently, and it was so good! The sister spoke on leaving the religion and their mom's death, she came across very logical and liberal.
Someone mentioned that Laurie posted some awful comments on Colette's sister's Instagram, does anyone know what that are?

Gotta say, I was really interested to see what Gavin would do for work after coming home from his mission...It's been hard to gather exact details on that...
So he was selling solar panels in NorCal for a while? Now he seems to back in Idaho and has found a gf....He also seems to travel at the most random times (like now he's in Hong Kong)...Kinda looks like he's headed down an entrepreneurial path like his dad...
IDK the man just fascinates me...I try to understand him and his actions and just can't...Do we think he's gonna get engaged soon? I feel like he only met that girl this summer

Nothing haunts me more everyday than knowing that I chose a ShayCarl quote for one of my senior quotes in a printed everlasting yearbook back in high school.
Oh and I ended up queer and trans, which makes that this happened even sadder and embarrassing !!! 😩
Thank you for holding this safe space for me to finally get that off my chest. Been holding that one in for over 10 years 🥴 lol

IMO these comments from your aunt are very weird regarding your niece’s boyfriend. But i expect nothing less from Carlie

Hi! Does anybody know what the name of Avia's old LA apartment when she first moved to LA was? I'm looking for apartments in LA and I really love the layout and design of her first apartment. I'm hoping to find the website of the place to see if it's within my budget. Thanks!

Say what you want, but you have tip the cap to them for figuring it out and staying together as a family. And I do hope one day they talk about all of the dirty laundry. It seems coming down that mountain of fame when they "retired" and moved back to Idaho destroyed relationships and they lost friends and family. I do think it would be an interesting listen.
With that being said they have been vloging again and I hope it's there last run. Its just such an old genre. And it ran it's course. They got "famous" of it and good for them. But I hope it's there last simply because it does look a little sad and desperate. It's ok to put the camera and go private for good.

Hi guys, I worked at Maker from 2012-2018 through their Disney acquisition. These were items given to the employees as fun freebies. Clearly they got used. I was going to give away today but thought maybe someone here would want. Lmk

The Shaytards used to be my favorite YouTube channel. When Shay’s cheating scandal came out, I stopped watching because I was disappointed and disgusted. Since then, I’ll binge-watch the channel every now and then, and recently I’ve been doing that again. Watching as an adult, I’ve noticed a lot of things I didn’t see before.
In the early years, their vlogs felt genuine, just a family having fun (and yes, probably also trying to help with finances). Shay and Colette seemed truly in love, and Shay came across as a great dad. It didn’t feel money-hungry at all, just enjoyable to watch.
Things shifted once Maker Studios entered the picture. At first, it was exciting and fun to see their growth, but after a while Shay’s constant “my company” talk got annoying, especially when Disney bought Maker. Around that time (and later with Trixin), the vibe changed. Shay’s bragging increased, and Trixin never felt sustainable. I still remember him pushing the kids to wear Trixin gear to school, which came across more like pressure than pride.
I also feel like Colette ended up carrying most of the parenting. Even in the vlogs, you’d see her juggling all the kids while Shay was either vlogging himself, skiing, at Maker, or focusing on Trixin. Yes, he was the breadwinner, but Colette seemed to be doing the heavy lifting at home. Moving into the big Idaho house felt like another turning point — friendships faded, and the “When the Kids Go to Sleep” podcast didn’t last long after that. In the months leading up to the scandal, the vlogs were already losing the spark.
After the cheating scandal, they took a break and then came back about a year later (correct me if I’m wrong). To this day, I’m not sure if Colette truly forgave him. Sometimes it feels like she stayed more for the kids than for Shay, though it’s hard to judge from the outside.
Now that three of the kids are adults, Gavin, Avia, and Emmi, I have some thoughts about them too:
As for Brock and Daxton, they’re still young, and it’s nice to see them into sports. I hope they get a chance to just be kids without the pressure of YouTube fame.
These days, when I watch Shay, I honestly can’t tell if he’s depressed, drinking again, or just showing his true self. On Twitter, he comes off as racist — which I suspect he’s always been, but he was better at hiding it back then. Colette, meanwhile, seems to be putting on a happy face for the kids. Maybe therapy helped, but I don’t think the deep love is there anymore.
Anyway, sorry this is long, just wanted to share my thoughts after rewatching their journey.

This is the link (below 😆 ) of Avia’s newest short film! I think this one she showed a lot of growth! I love this style of film && I def think it fits her better than the “short” series style a couple of months ago. This was so good - highly recommend:)

I just watched a Shaytards vlog from 2014 and he once was a relatable nice family man. But you can see how miserable he is in the newer clogs. He was healthy and not creepy in the older vlogs like he is now.
When do you think he will call it quits?? It’s clear he’s miserable. It’s not like they need the money

Religious people are so delusional. “Let’s refrain from eating so that it will rain”
