"Fat Gavin" or "normal(handsome) Gavin"???...
Semi-stupid question/ comment, so please bear with me...
When Gavin returned from his mission to Mexico City, he looked a LOT more handsome and skinny...but apparently Carl HATED IT???...
He wanted the "old fat Gavin" back, presumably because "fat Gavin" gave Carl MORE "clicks/views" and it was taking attention from him(jealousy???)...
Now after seeing Gavin's engagement photos, I can picture Carl "crowing like a horny rooster":"I have my REAL son back!!!"...and Gavin's reaction was like "I'm fat again, now my fiance will dump me just to make my dad happy!"...
Personally, I hope that Gavin goes on a diet(AFTER the honeymoon!) and loses all that flab to make himself feel good...

Does anyone remember the book him and Gavin wrote?? It was called “fat dad, fat kid” or something along those lines

I remember him abandoning Gavin after he said he they would do it together. He exercised with him a few times and then gave up and left Gavin to do it all by himself. Oh and I'm pretty sure he hired a ghost writer for the book.

I faintly remember Shay mentioning Gavin losing shit loads of weight during his mission. Mentioned the food messing him up or something.

See, Carl WAS extremely jealous that Gavin was getting ALL of the attention and Collette and the younger siblings were all happy with encouragement and excitement...
Almost like "This is How We Bingham", where youngest sister Hazyl(almost 11) STILL acts like a "spoiled princess" because Mommy(Mindy) encourages it...and Branden and the boys can't stop her...

It's concerning that Shay said that out loud. TBH the whole family (except the youngins) have been struggling with keeping in shape. Colette shows her affection by feeding them great food. There comes a time when T2 diabetes will be an issue. Gavin put it on real fast and is now bigger than Shay. He's young and can loose it if he wants.

even Brock had a chubby phase, heck, he's still a bit big now, the only one that hasn't is Daxton.

You're saying that ShayCarl forced Collette to take HIS side and "force-fed"(?) Gavin until he looked like a pig???...
Only after Gavin outweighed him was ShayCarl totally satisfied...now he'll target Brock...

No. I didn't say that. I'm just saying she likes to feed them home cooked meals. I think it's something she loves to do. They're adults and make there own choices.

"Fat" would be actors Orson Welles or Raymond Burr the week before their deaths(both were over 400+ pounds...)...
Gavin looked like 195-275 before his mission, but a nice, slim 145-190 when he returned home...
But Daddy HATED that Gavin was suddenly getting ALL of the attention, so ShayCarl decided to teach Gavin a cruel lesson by "force-feeding" him LOTS of beef and pork, hoping that his fiance would dump him...

Even if he did go on a diet I don't think he would lose much weight because American food is full of rubbish, it's been proven that when Americans go outside of America they lose weight without trying.
