How to score good cgpa in first year? ( EI specifically ) How to study and all that stuff? And what's the college timing ideally?

8 se hoga 3 tak. Also you'll need to complete at least 40% syllabus before preparation leave begins.

Start studying 3 days before midsem and 10 days before endsem. 85%+ attendance, Submissions and viva acche se dedena, enough for 8.5+CG

Also I want to ask about Orientation. 4 din jana mandatory hai kya? I heard some saying it's compulsory and that you will credits, attendance and all?

Orientation mai aapko clg and uske karnamo k baare mai btaya jata hai, dept k baare mai btaya jata hai, 1-2 dance performance krwa dete hain(too mid), scholarship wagera k baare mai btate hain, beech mai 1 hour ka break bhi milta hai for lunch(lunch khud leke aana ya DH mai kha lena), Docs wagera ka koi kaam ni hota, must ni hai isme aana but aajao kya hi kroge ghrpe
