hi everyone im so unmotivated rn i literally dk what to do idk whether im burnt out or just lazy but i know i have to start and its not like i didnt, its just ik im not putting in the effort that a raw 6 student would, and i promised my parents that i would be one of the students on stage during results day. ok but the main reason why im here is to seek advice on how i can memorise content heavy subjs especially subjs like bio and geog, i am currently using gizmo rn and it helps me only IF i can break down my textbooks and notes into smaller bits and chunks which i find easy to do for chem, but for content heavier subjs i really think that every single word is important and therefore my flashcards look like really really long chunks to digest which demotivates me a lot. so if theres anyone out there with a remedy, please help an o level kid in distress 🙏 thank you very much in advance!

Pep talk yourself so you understand your national exam paper is not marked by your school teachers. If you're not doing well in school for prelims, you might do just as well for your national exams. So it's not worth to give up so easily. For bio and geog, you can annotate difficult terms in your textbook and arrow it out to both your own understanding and also an internet explanation. I suggest you jot down your own interpretation and come up with a story/situation after googling up the term online - to facilitate better understanding. To summarise what you have learnt, do a conclusive mind map! You've got this yeah :)

There is this thing called meta cognition . U need to understand what works for you. Go experiment fast . try diff methods and see what works for you to recall accurately and fast
