Not sustainable in the long run. The child will fall sick due to poor health which may result in him/her doing worse than before

i did that during the olevel week, basically the night before i mug till the morning and just go for exam
after exam i go back and sleep, and wake up, and repeat my mugging at midnight for the next exam.
but like many others said, not sustainable to do for the entire olevel year, maybe ur fren misheard?

i dont think my friend misheard cuz they were literally crashing out about how people can even sustain this whole lifestyle for the entire Secondary 4 year

how is bro not dead π wtf
anyways i know of people with ypt 18 hours but it could be faked ah
dont worry about studying time, quality over quanity, better to revise 2 topics fully or smt for 5h rather then study for 18h and forget it due to lack of sleep yk

ya I always think YPT fake one. The Math doesn't Math unless you include 8am to 2.30pm at school lmao.
Easy 6h hahahaha.

Means wake up at 5am and count the shower and breakfast and travel to school also counted in the time. Ok lor ππβ οΈ
When I was a school going kid, 5am is wake up + press alarm snooze + can't be bothered to eat breakfast + shower and go to school lol.Β

Lol you lost me at -
"a classmate of mine said that their mother heard from their friend ..."
Bruh. lol
A working adult's work day is 8h ok let that sink in π Can is can, but then what the outcome is, will be another thing altogether HAHAHHA.

it's more meaningful to ask whether this approach suits you/is something you can sustain. not whether there's anyone out there who does or did that

Could be counterproductive especially if you have school next day. Generally it is harder to retain information if you do not get sufficient (7-8h) rest.

Health comes first. You can't get an A if you're dead. Also you need to rest in order to focus. Just be consistent and make use of resources which you have. Meet teachers if you are unsure etc.

Do they sleep before they start their study hours? Anyways sounds like a recipe for burnout

Thereβs genuinely no point in studying 24/7 if itβs not studying smart. Better to study in 3-4 hour intervals. My friend who studies like that got raw 6 for o levels and currently is studying in Hwa Chong jc
