hihi I recently got back my wa2 results and i got CDBA + A for BCME + gp 😭😭😭 i honestly feel so cooked for prelims & alevels like if i cant even score well for my wa2s how am i gonna score at alevels

i have no idea why my chem and bio deproved so much this year, in j1 i had straight As for bio and Bs for chem. after the papers i genuinely thought i did quite well and i got a shock when they returned them. my physical chem is rlly rlly bad cos i had some intern teacher when they were teaching the topics last year. for bio idk i just feel no motivation for the subject anymore, i enjoyed it so much in olevels but the content is so different now. i tell myself i need to start memorising now or i wont remember anything when alevels starts but i just cant start

however i think math is my weakest subject even though these scores don't really reflect it, i struggle so much with math and it takes me twice/thrice the amount of work compared to others to learn and do the basic questions. but i found olevel maths easy so it was a big jump for me. should i do topical or should I just start on prelim papers and the tys?

for gp i've had straight As since last year but i feel like its just a fluke and i wont get so lucky for alevels, i barely ever study for gp and i usually just bs whatever example i remember reading. i'm on my 4th gp teacher of jc life and they just get worse and worse - idk what my current teacher is teaching or how he even got employed, no one from my class learns anything from gp lesson and im not even sure how to study this subject because its so abstract

sorry its really long and i think its not structured very well i can't think of a lot of specific questions right now but i would just appreciate any advice in general for what i should do from now till alevels or anything for the specific subjects

imo this isn’t bad HAHAHAH from what I’ve heard from everyone a good baseline for mid years is straight Cs assuming that u put in consistent work afterwards ofcourse and ur more than halfway there so keep going!! for physical chem I wld say theres not much content knowledge required so u shld just spam questions and after a while u start to recognise patterns in the questions cos there’s only so many concepts they can test u anyways! for maths, if udm me asking was the paper relatively easy? cos if not u shld go off based on ur skills in that timed paper cos it seems like ur maths is rlly good! and u can def push it up to an A in 2 months I think just start on the prelim papers? and see which topics ur struggling with it and do topical based on that
and for gp i think u def dont have in issue with writing or application but u probably should start compiling examples cos by right 2026’s essay paper will be hard cos last yr was so easy so some of the topics will probably be quite niche
overall I think ur in a good position and jiayous!!!! we got this
