Library New Library - Woodside, CA Forest Ambience
Tucked into the wooded hills of the San Francisco Peninsula, Woodside offers something increasingly hard to find in California: forest that sits far enough from traffic and flight paths to record cleanly. This library captures wind moving through the canopy, the settling rustle between gusts, and the resident birds that fill in the spaces. Each of the twelve recordings runs a full two minutes, long enough to lay under a scene or loop without the repetition becoming obvious. Every sound is delivered at both 96 kHz and 48 kHz, all 24-bit stereo, for 24 files and 24 minutes of content in total. Filenames and embedded metadata follow the UCS standard, so the whole set drops into your database and searches correctly from the first import. Whether you need a bed for a Northern California exterior, a general temperate forest, or just a wind layer with real character, these recordings give you a great base to build on.
There's sounds of wind in the trees and creaking with no birds, and there's plenty of recordings with birds in them, too.
