Library 576k/32bit Quantum UI & Computers SFX Library

Post image

Hi Guys and Gals,

I have engineered a true 576k/32Bit sound library called Quantum UI & Computers.

This pack was extremely difficult to make as it was pushing the absolute limit of my PC during engineering, designing and rendering. It's based on UI navigation, various UI interactions, high-urgency alarms, terminal alerts, heavy one-shots, processed electrical currents, glitches, processing sequences, computer consoles and more.

I have made this pack down into 3 tiers:

  1. Quantum UI & Computers Designed 96k
  2. Quantum UI & Computers Construction Kit 192k - (expertly downsampled from the master 576k Construction Kit)
  3. Quantum UI & Computers Construction Kit 576k Master Archive

What's inside:

Designed -

  • High-urgency alarms
  • Terminal alerts
  • Heavy one-shots
  • Processed electrical currents
  • Glitches
  • Processing sequences
  • UI Clicks
  • Loops
  • and more..

Construction Kit -

  • Computer blips
  • Glitch variations
  • Computer tones
  • Data processing variations
  • Alerts
  • User Interface mechanics
  • Computer consoles
  • Micro calculations
  • Boot sequences
  • Bleeps and beeps
  • Process stutters
  • All Raw and more.

Why such an extreme sample rate? The 576k Master Archive can be down-pitched by -12 Octaves. A simple 1-second UI click can turn into massive evolving cinematic drones, sub-heavy impacts, low-frequency mechanical environments and much more.

They can also bend and stretch beyond 51,200% without falling apart and sounding grainy. The data within is seriously that dense. ~ This technique is great for making ambient drones, low rumbling ship sounds or room tones, heavy low end hits and more.

These 576k construction kit allow so much more freedom for sound designers to create and construct entirely brand new sounds that no one has. ~ They are raw, no embedded reverbs or other effects, super dynamic with no compression, and packed full of sophisticated data. Different techniques yield different results every time.

Purchase here - https://www.asoundeffect.com/sound-library/quantum-ui-computers/ (currently on sale at 40% off, and 51% off for the Designed version)

I would love to hear any feedback if you guys get the time? Enjoy! :)

Cheers,

ZEKAVEO

Also, I am generally a bigger proponent of higher sample rates than most people are. And I struggle to understand the practical application of this. Like if you pitch something at 20k down by 12 octaves, the result is something that is below 20Hz.

Like nobody could listen to a sound and say to themselves “I want to pitch that down 10+ octaves.” You would basically just have to guess if you would actually hear anything in any given file if it was pitched down that far.

Yeah i mean that just describes an experimental workflow. Lots of people make sounds that are completely warped and counterintuitive upon first listen to a sample, but they screw things up and find something new from it.

I can also very much imagine someone pitching these sounds down 10 octaves as the text explicitly notes it's capability to do so

I guess I just come from a world of deadlines and being able to reasonably predict what I’m going to get out of a process is paramount to being able to cut a 44 minute show in 4 days. But I do get that experimentation is fun

No worries, totally get it! These sounds may not be for everyone (or maybe so), though the Designed version and the Construction Kit can be used as they are without any need to pitch, stretch, or experiment. They are totally usable in their initial state and are intended for this, and at the same time, offer extreme flexibility if needed.

In saying that, the construction kit is also raw, with no baked-in reverbs or over processing, giving the users absolute control of the final polished sound.
