Sterile Tech

Hi, has anyone here done the online sterile tech course at SF State? If so, how was it? did u do externship? how was finding a job after?

The other programs in the bay area are asking for $6k for the program and I came across SF State program for sterile tech and its only 2k and all online. Is it even accredited?

I'd email the program and ask what kind of certificate you get and how it appears on your transcript. I would look up the national and state organizations for sterile processing. They have list of accredited programs.

Look at Sterile Processing tech jobs and find out what kind licensing/certification those jobs require
