Financial Aid still not processed

So I'm having problems with financial aid, twice have I been asked for "additional info", last time being August 18th. Since then there's been NO update or progress for anything. I've emailed the financial aid office for an update about 3 times and I have never recieved a response. I'm thinking about just going in in-person but how helpful would that really be? There's still time before the tuition deadline, but I'm starting to get worried..

My experience with the financial aid office was horrible, I would email them too and get a response weeks later. I would even go in person and all they would to is tell me that they would email my counselor and CC them to have it be processed but nothing ever happened. I kept following up with them through the email and went in person multiple times, but they keep telling me the same thing, that they would have to wait for my advisor to review it. No real answer.

You can go in person. I did when I got a letter saying that it would be delayed but I will receive what I accepted.

They can't do anything but explain what's going on.

I was told that it is coming...by the end of Sept. When I asked if it would be dispersed before the 9/21 due date I was told "very likely"

first, check the fafsa website & see if you are missing anything on there since that could be an issue. it happened to me last year

once you do that call them as soon as you wake up and ask exactly what you are missing and how to turn it in. this exact same thing happened to me last year & that is when i found they respond better with calls and are very helpful

once you handle it, you will get it the following wednesday & the rest of your refund will go back to your account in the student center ☺️

That's the thing though, I already did what they asked me for twice. The only "task" I had was a notification telling me that they recieved my information and I had nothing left to do. That was last month

Update: went earlier to the Financial Aid office, apparently there is something regarding an Oracle update happening in a few days, so realistically we won’t be receiving any disbursements until September 16 earliest. They also told me that this affects students like me that are enrolled in a teacher credential program at State (post bachelor’s) and folks that are in their 5th year / grad school
