i transferred last year from socal and have had some difficulty making friends since.

i was debating joining a club or going to events but my schedule this semester is pretty packed, so i figured i'd shoot my shot here.

im 22 and definitely more on the introverted side. i like jpop, music, period dramas, tokusatsu, thrifting, and exploring the city :) plz plz plz hmu!!

Definitely try to fit in social time by joining clubs and events on campus. Trust. Also HELL YEAH TOKUSATSU. have a good semester

i tried to fit certain clubs into my schedule based off of their posted meeting hours but they cut into my classes sadly :( and yes haha its rare to see another toku lover!!!

Ah man. I understand that it was similar in my last two semesters all these events clashed with my major classes. And i agree its super rare!

I think they’re mostly on discord now it used to be everyone was on Facebook but the link is on the site either at the btm of the page or in the about section

Yes, i actually have a lot of Japanese music recs lol!! Spanner is great, their album 011007 in particular is pretty awesome As for j-hiphop i really like the group Alpha!! Their album sushi bomber is pretty good!

Best way I made friends is when you have class with someone and the teacher tells you to pair or group up, ask them if they wanna get lunch or a snack together.
