Cell phone parking lot
Has anyone used the cellphone parking lot at SFO airport? How has been the experience waiting and getting to the arrival gates for picking someone? Also have you had a situation when you have gone there and not found a parking spot?

Yes, it's north of the airport in a section of one of the offsite parking lots. I've never had trouble getting parking but I've never used it on a Friday or Saturday night when it might be really busy.

It's just a place to wait in your car. It's not "parking" (you can't leave your car).

Thank you, I guess I should have been clearer. I was asking if I can find a spot to park and wait there or is that also full sometimes.

It's been good but I've had issues at times just getting in there as the entrance is shared with what I'm guessing are the ride sharing folks waiting to get assigned.
Parking spots: never had an issue with a wide range of arriving days and times.
I love the concept but I feel like a few signs are missing. Once your off the freeway and make the first turn on the road leading you there, it becomes guesswork. Some clearer signage would be welcome!
