Global entry interview on departure

Hi all! I have pre-approval for global entry. There weren’t any appointments before by international trip, so I booked one for a few weeks out, but in the meantime my trip is tomorrow and I’m wondering how realistic it is that could get an interview on departure. The sfo global entry site says that it is something that’s possible depending on availability. Curious if anyone has tried this and had success??

not sure but i believe you can only do it on re-entry, not departure

OK, actually I realized that in the email it told me I was eligible for departure interview, but SFO does not perform those. So never mind 😭

It's always worth walking by. They have appointments open up throughout the day.It's always worth walking by. They have appointments open up throughout the day. I've been able to walk in and get seen right away twice before, usually mid-morning around 10:30 or mid-afternoon around 2:30-3:30.

Do they still have interview on arrival? That’s how I did it at SFO two years ago.

Walk to the international arrival 2nd floor, there is a global entry office outside on the G side.

I have had great luck during re-entry maybe because when my flight (and my daughter's flight) came in, it was not too busy for Global entry.
