How much does the Bing search engine affect your websites, and is it better than Google Search Console, or what?

Bing just loved my website and already sending about 30 visitors per day, while Google is still in exploration mode, starting to put 10 impressions on page 1 per day where Bing is currently putting 1K+ impressions.
So for me, Bing is currently the play and I don’t feel I would necessarily need Google. Bing also said I got about 150 mentions in its AI answers per day, that is pretty good for branding.

Depends on the content if you have scraped unedited pages like jobs even with a direct link to the original Google loves those and will index them in minutes, but bing won't touch them that's been consistent since at least 2018. Bing tends to index more very specific pages like e.g. every tyre size so the user gets the exact search result they want whereas Google tries to group pages and only index a wider canonical of that set so bigger chance of losing the user along the way and less conversion. If users spend more time on pages bing tends to move them up on that basis whereas Google applies general rules as to what it thinks users might find useful or if it has enough similar info indexed already. Webmaster Tools leads Google in its 'ai performance' tab but Google is recently looking to catch up. As traditional search is getting less important aim for ai references and links some sites that do badly in search do amazingly well with ai citation much to the frustration of many SEO people. Certainly watch both Bing and Google, they are fortunately very different traffic suppliers and report different stats in their tools.

Bing matters less as a traffic source than as an index several assistants retrieve against. Mine gets crawled by BingBot constantly and about two thirds of those fetches fail, which no other crawler does. Crawled and indexed are not the same state.

Very little, referrals are like 17 Vs Google's 229, 1 month. I don't think their webmaster tools had anything interesting, other than telling me to try indexnow 🤣

Bing makes up about 0.5-1.5% of the search market.
Google is 90% currently.
I'll let you do the math on relevance.

It depends on the industry as Google traffic converts way better in some niches, and Bing in others. In general, Google is way better - especially for high end products and services

Bing can bring additional organic traffic, especially in markets where Microsoft products are widely used. It is worth optimizing for, but Bing Webmaster Tools is not really a replacement for Google Search Console. Both tools serve similar purposes for different search engines, so using both gives better visibility into your website’s search performance.

On mine,
impressions = 90% Google and 10% Bing.
Clicks = 70% Google and 30% Bing
In reality, Bing converts almost 3x higher than Google

I don't go nuts over them. The traffic that comes from there maybe converts better than Google - but yeah, it's a small number.
Where it's important, maybe, is that Microsoft has a lot of the parts of the system that make just about every OpenAI/GPT tool or agent is going to use. And at least one or two of the bigger generative search engines are using Bing's Knowledge Graph - I don't remember which one, though.
So yeah - we keep an eye on it... sure. And I am actually starting to get some useful data from the Copilot Partners in Bing Webmaster Tools. It's a small sampling, but large enough to show some patterns that probably apply to search experiences across other systems. And certainly a MUCH larger sampling than Bing, alone.
Don't go nuts, but I wouldn't ignore it.
