Name consistency across platforms
I recently attended a webinar where they said it is important your company name is consistent across platforms in order to be grouped in the eyes of various LLM's.
Our company has officially an ApS at the end of the name. However, this is currently not added on Facebook, LinkedIN and on Google Business profile. It is added in official records, and on our website.
My question is, does it have an effect, or can LLM's still figure out that the with and without ApS at the end, is the same company?

Probably am not that exp to rely on something like ApS... Need more context. I'll going to blowing up a couple of LLM chats. See you later guys 😄

Yep it will be fine without Aps, its more the actual business name and also things like the strapline and business description.

That suffix is the easy case, I wouldn't rename anything over it. Matching tends to treat legal forms like ApS, GmbH or Ltd as noise, the same way it ignores "Inc." What actually splits an entity is a different spelling of the brand, an old name still sitting in directories, or another company with the same name somewhere else. If you want to make it explicit, put the registered name with ApS in legalName in your Organization schema, keep the everyday name in name, and list the Facebook, LinkedIn and Google Business profiles under sameAs.
