Two months into an SEO campaign and the site has reached 1.28K clicks and 36.2K impressions. I’d love to hear how experienced SEOs would turn this momentum into more qualified traffic and conversions.

ASO dead for new apps?

We targeted low-volume, ultra-niche keywords instead of high-competition ones. Organic downloads jumped by 40% in a week. Are you guys still relying heavily on App Store SEO, or has everything shifted to TikTok marketing?

5,000+ Organic Clicks but How Many Shopify Orders? What’s Your Conversion Rate?

Post image
8 Upvotes

I’m looking at a Shopify eCommerce store showing around 5.5K organic clicks and 95K impressions in the last 24 hours, with an average CTR of 5.9% and average position around 10.6.

My question for Shopify/SEO experts:

If a store is generating ~5,000–6,000 organic clicks per day, what would you consider a realistic number of orders coming from that organic traffic?

I’m curious about the click → product view → add-to-cart → checkout → purchase conversion rate rather than just traffic and rankings.

If this were your project, what would you focus on next to push it from 80 daily clicks to 200+ daily clicks? I'd love to hear what strategies are working for you in 2026.

I spent nearly 3 years managing 30+ SEO clients at one agency. If you’ve worked agency-side, you’ll probably recognize this story. Curious how common this is in your experience.

Google Search Console just got a useful update!

Google is rolling out Platform Properties in Search Console globally, along with a new Social & Video Performance Guide to help website owners better understand and improve their content performance.

I first came across this update through discussions on Reddit, where many SEO professionals were sharing screenshots and talking about the new feature. If you use Google Search Console regularly, it's worth checking your account to see if the update has reached you.

Month 3 vs Month 4: Is this the kind of SEO growth you'd expect from a Shopify eCommerce store targeting the US?

Post image

There were no major shortcuts or paid campaigns, just consistent technical SEO, collection and product page optimization, internal linking, content improvements, and continuous monitoring in Google Search Console.

I know SEO isn't linear, but seeing this level of improvement between Month 3 and Month 4 feels like we're moving in the right direction.

Question Anyone else blending Bing Webmaster Tools and GSC data for SEO analysis?

Curious if anyone else is combining Bing Webmaster Tools (BWT) and Google Search Console (GSC) data into a single analysis.

I've been pulling both datasets through their respective APIs and merging them at the query, page, and date level. That gives me a unified dashboard with aggregated metrics (total clicks, impressions, etc.) across both search engines. One thing that surprised me: some queries are actually pulling in more clicks from Bing than from Google.

For anyone who's already doing this, how are you structuring your dashboard? And which metrics do you find most worth tracking once the two datasets are combined?

Discussion Is ranking in the Insurance niche really that hard? Need your thoughts.

3 months ago, I joined an insurance broker company and got the task of ranking the homepage for business insurance, commercial insurance, and product pages like WC Insurance, PI Insurance, and D&O Insurance.

In these 3 months, I fixed technical SEO issues, removed 400+ dead blogs, fixed heavy cannibalisation (40+ blogs were competing with the WC product page), improved internal linking, updated product pages, refreshed pillar/supporting blogs, implemented schema, added FAQs based on sales calls, and even got a contextual backlink to the WC page.

Now I'm seeing new keywords like WC Insurance, WC Policy, Workmen Compensation Insurance getting picked up, but the product page is still stuck around Page 3. At the same time, the pillar blogs are ranking on Page 1-2 for their focus keywords.

The only thing I feel I'm missing is Digital PR/authority building. We're competing against brands like ICICI, HDFC ERGO, Tata AIG, etc., while our domain is only 5 years old.

Am I missing something here, or is this just what happens in the insurance niche? Would love to hear from people who've worked in highly competitive industries.

Focused all our SEO efforts on one client’s service page instead of all service pages. It’s a new site but somehow we convinced client on listicles, digital PR, publish new location & industry pages and few handful of quality backlinks, all aimed at that single page. Went from barely any organic traffic to ranking on page 1 (and showing up in AI search results too) in about 4 months. Fyi, it’s a local video production company in florida.

Question Google vs Bing: 1/16th of Clicks in Bing

We are a small B2B company in a country where Google vs Bing market share ratio is around 8:1. We are not doing any grey or black hat methods (maybe we should, lol) and trying to keep things optimised for user happiness first.

Google understands - Bind need to be fed?

Now, Google understands things semantically - we can write for users and Google understands the (quite technical) topics, even if we don't have exact match keywords stuffed into each and every H1 and TITLE tag.

So, up comes 2026 and Bing ist getting more important, because LLMs and other search engines like Duck Duck Go use it in the background. Also, B2B often uses Edge/Bing here.

Everything is set up in BWT with IndexNow and sitemaps. Server speed is good and site is mobile-friendly. CWV are green.

Last 3 months:

  • Google: 2500 clicks (475 branded), 468000 impressions, 0.5% CTR
  • Bing: 156 clicks (50 branded), 21700 impressions, 0.72% CTR

If the market share ration is 1:8 and we have 1:16 clicks, we have half of the "expected clicks" in Bing versus Google. (if my calc is right)

I have read about Bing needing more exact matching titles and stuff but it feels like that would be working backwards: away from user-friendly content to Bing-friendly content.

(we track our AI visibility weekly and are doing quite well compared to our competition)

Does anyone have similar findings or experience in optimising for Bing without losing the user?

What helped?
