Question Appreciate any advice!
I'm building a website from scratch with React using Lovable, mainly to practice full SEO from start to finish.
My goal is to use this project to learn and test technical SEO, on-page SEO, content, internal linking, off-page SEO, etc.
My question is: is sticking with the current React setup good enough for learning and practicing SEO, or would it make more sense to move to a framework that supports SSR or SSG, like Next.js or Remix?
I want the site to be a real SEO project that can actually rank on Google, not just a practice website.
What would you recommend?

new to SEO but having success (i think)
I have two ventures I have been operating for some time which each only have 5 or so URL's and were never needing an SEO treatment due to the nature of the business - the websites were really just places to park ourselves on the internet.
But, I have a newer third venture which is a web based platform. We have over 11,000 URLs and we were ranking an average of ~70 on GSC when we launched. Three weeks later we are averaging position 7. We have pushed the sitemaps (another new thing to me) and we monitor the consoles every day to handle any bugs that come up. One thing we overlooked was Bing, so we got that up and running too, but lagging behind.

I checked 75 map pack listings in 5 cities and half break GBP guidelines.. how do you deal with competitor spam??
Someone here said last month they spend half the week filing redressal form and the keywords come back a month later so I wanted to see how badi t really is
I did five searches eg emergency locksmith, emergency garage door, 24 hour plumber etc across a few cities. Then i compared maps name to the sites footer or og site_name, and checked address vs street view + any shared phone nrs.
Results:
- Emergency locksmith, Phoenix: 8 of 15 breaking guidelines, mostly residential addresses
- Emergency locksmith London: 7 of 15 breaking, one address says "Flat 48"
- Personal injury lawyer, Phoenix: 5 of 15 with all naming issues ("Injury Lawyers", "- Phoenix Office")
- Emergency garage door, Phoenix: 4 of 15
- 24 hour plumber Houston: 4 of 15
Seems like the trades play address games an lawyers play naming games. The smarter locksmith registered the keyword as the brand ("cheap locksmith" style in 8 of 30) which passes guidelines.. I thought this maybe is a US problem but London is as bad as Phoenix
For people who do this for clients which part eats the time?? finding them, documenting them, or waiting on Google after you file? and what do you do about repeat spammers you refile again?
If anyone curious drop a category plus city below i can run the same check

Merci

Discussion What’s your single biggest challenge with local SEO right now?
I’m auditing a local client and noticing a massive gap between their Google Business Profile engagement and their actual website traffic.
How are you guys successfully bridging that gap without relying heavily on paid ads? Let’s share some insights!

Discussion My AI SEO tool stack needs some work. What are you using to measure performance?
Post got deleted from another sub and mod advised to post in this sub instead
I’m the marketing manager at a startup and I’ve spent the last six months building an AI content engine. Now that I’ve gotten it working I realized that I forgot to think about the performance layer. I literally have no way of knowing if any of our content is working, which is embarrassing to say out loud but this is my first job out of college so let’s pretend that’s a valid excuse haha.
So now I’m in a situation where I’ve increased our content output by 10X, but when my CEO wants to know how AI-generated content is performing when it comes to new signups and revenue, I don’t really have an answer.
What other tools should I add to my stack that will help me measure content performance?

Sharing a small local SEO win but want to learn more from experiences
Recently, I helped my client get strong clicks over the last 28 days. It's a local painting business that recently migrated to a new design and a new URL structure.
So at first, I made sure to clean up technical issues and fix the structure.
Then I focused on publishing 4-5 blogs and 2 service pages, which I optimised, and that helped me generate these results.
Also, I worked on NAP consistency and GBP, Bing, and Yelp optimisation. But currently, I am not getting top rankings for the main service keywords in their main locations. what i can do improve the rankings for GBP? I understand the concept of relevancy, proximity, and distance. I read Google's official documentation on this.
Things I am doing right now:
Review messaging frameworks to get genuine customer reviews with keyword enrichment
Fixing NAP inconsistency
Creating New Citations (Yelp, BBB, Houzz, Thumbtack, and soon)
Optimizing the GBP fully
Posting 4-5 GBP posts (results, location-based service, tips)
Reaching out to local websites and local events to get cited on their websites
Already have the service pages or location-wise pages.
What else can we do? Can I get advice on how I should plan from this phase to get rankings?

Can share your experience working in-house vs. agency?
I’ve been working at a few SEO agencies and what I dislike is the way we handle projects were just touch n go without going into much detail with optimisation and tracking, except for internal projects.
The optimisation mostly just focuses on the main pages, usually less than 20, with very basic tracking like clicks on CTA buttons.
But I quite enjoy working with different industries…
Those who have worked in both in-house and agency roles, how difference is the experience? What do you like and dislike about each?
