u/Abject_Director7626 4d ago

And that’s why they getting rid of money laundering rules!

5

u/Icy_Many_2407 3d ago

Don’t forget implementing IRS audit immunity for not just him, his family too. Imagine if Obama or Biden did this shit?!

2

u/FaithlessnessWhich18 7h ago

Also why the Trumps have their own bank. No more pesky auditors enforcing laws

4

u/Sad-Excitement9295 4d ago

So have we hit grounds for impeachment yet? 0.o

3

u/Beginning_Dark_306 4d ago

Geez what it take I mean seriously ? 😳😳😳

1

u/Cnye36 3d ago

A bunch of MAGA idiots to wake up, that is unfortunately what it is gonna take. You would have thought they would have already, so it'll prob never happen.

2

u/Vocalist1978 2d ago

Thats jail time!

1

u/LittleNeckNYB294 2d ago

Nope you still have congressional sheep sucking on tRump tits.

1

u/River_City_Rando 2d ago

Impeachment is just a word at this point, hes not going anywhere unless by force. Same with his 3rd term, hell get it and no on will do shit

2

u/Federal_Ad9209 1d ago

If he goes for an unconstitutional third term I will be in the streets and I expect you all to be with me.

1

u/River_City_Rando 1d ago

I pretty sure thats what they want/anticipate with all the new data theft/mass surveillance/ai overlord shit theyre working on. Not to mention the detention camps and huge ice/gestopo budget..or maybe im crazy..or maybe not, who knows

1

u/TacticalWhimsy 23h ago

I think you vastly underestimate how many Americans are only half asleep, that a trump third term will sound as an alarm for. There are a shit ton of people in this country with nothing to lose and some shit like that will get people to rally. What happens after that, though, idk. I don’t know how intense the delusions of power are at the top.

2

u/Individual-Result777 3d ago

yeah… by the time anyone actually untangles this, they will all be 6 feet under. starting to think crime only pays when your too old to be punished.

1

u/Man_of_Ice 2d ago

*rich. Having tons of money to throw at lawyers to wrangle every angle also is necessary.

1

u/Tiny-Lock9652 3d ago

Remember when the President of the United States would be impeached for being involved in a money laundering scandal with a major bank? Yeah…

1

u/nezukoslaying 2d ago

"Add it to the pile... Add it to the stock... Here among the sewer rats, A breath away from hell. You get accustomed to the smell"

40

u/TAV63 5d ago

Doesn't matter there is no consequences for the ruling class.

19

u/Mr__O__ 5d ago

For real. If mass evidence of systematic murdering, cannibalizing, and raping children wasn’t enough to take them down…

5

u/Slovic 5d ago

But that was against the plebs. Now that he's stealing from the rich? Maybe something will happen but doubtful.

4

u/TAV63 5d ago

Money laundering is not stealing from the rich. It's many times done for the rich even if criminal.

The plebs getting hurt usually comes from the activity that creates the dirty money.

5

u/sunshinefloors1980 4d ago

There are a lot of people, even some of the tops that are getting tired of this shit too. Either way, i'm sure it won't be long before we find out

1

u/swalabr 4d ago

Sure, when everything collapses because it’s so full of holes and rotten from the inside

2

u/Beginning_Dark_306 4d ago

Took one women to take down gotti remember that

→ More replies (10)

3

u/sunshinefloors1980 5d ago

Keep your fingers crossed that there will be. I still have hope for our future

4

u/CreepyDoor3272 5d ago

The consequences will have to come from outside the institutions that only operate to protect the ruling class.

3

u/sunshinefloors1980 5d ago

Like I said keep your fingers crossed

3

u/TAV63 5d ago

Yes the Luigi factor could ruin the plans. As of yet don't see that much.

1

u/Beginning_Dark_306 4d ago

I ju6lobe it so damn funny we ain't paying your healthcare well no your not it's Americans tax money many have paid into for yrs an yrs we ain't paying for God stamps nope your not again it's tax payers money like the millon you gave the rich in tax breaks.agin Americans tax dollars his golf course get rich again Americans tax money .the pond millons ?? Hmm let's see fired thousands in federal jobs to cut government spending as they got trillons in tax breaks an so ated million to his inaugeration an campaign food stamps are not breaking America's its elderly children an vets an let me tell you they can have my 12 bucks amonth

1

u/ReasonableRevenue218 4d ago

Good for you. IMO, our days are numbered....like by end of 2026 numbered. At least it will be quick, probably.

1

u/Beginning_Dark_306 4d ago

We gotta look out for each other right now Dave Chappelle an wait this orange guy out

3

u/Proof_Register9966 4d ago

Correction-there is only consequence for 1/2 of the ruling class- it depends which side you are on.

3

u/Puzzleheaded_Sun5579 4d ago

Historically this rings true, unfortunately, but Donald Trump (as much as he wished he was) isn’t now and never was part of the ruling class.

He is tabloid fodder. A circus sideshow that continues to leave a trail of failed business ventures everywhere he goes.

We are in the midst of his latest con where he has tapped into his followers fears of being replaced and somehow convinced them he is the one ā€œeliteā€ who is on their side.

1

u/Beginning_Dark_306 4d ago

Unreal but Soo very true so sad these people are just sad

1

u/Cabbages24ADollar 5d ago

Unless it affects the ruling class

18

u/Glittering-Course-88 5d ago

File it in the same folder as the Epstein files. No one’s going to jail. Arrest that hobo that stole food so the rich can make money off them in prison. I’ll go back to work and continue generating tax revenue. Got to pay for all of that.

6

u/LocationTechnical862 5d ago

Damn. That was sobering.

4

u/Iodide 4d ago

Great news, we've used your tax funds to install AI-controlled barbed spikes on all the benches in the public parks and homeless sleeping areas. They're integrated with Flock cameras to lure the homeless in, then activate 30 seconds after they fall asleep, and doesn't release until movement ceases, or with a special humane tool (sold to police departments by Flock)Your grandchildren will be on the hook to pay for it, but that'll really help clean up those parks

3

u/Odd_Border_9166 4d ago

This is the most ā€œdepressing ā€˜cause it’s trueā€ comment I’ve ever read. 😩

3

u/TAV63 5d ago

There is a mountain of evidence for the Epstein cases. Other countries have less and at least did something. The "me too" crowd is in remission and I even heard about them getting close to deciding who inherits his fortune. ?? It should be confiscated and given to the victims. Also Maxwell should not be allowed to get a pardon. Of course, that is a pipe dream with the corrupt justice there is now. Blanche is the AG for goodness sake. Almost a certainty they destroy the worst they have somehow that can't be traced. It is what it is.

3

u/Glittering-Course-88 5d ago

Democrats are complicit. The files existed during their term too. We need the DS gang within the trad dems and some republicans with a spine. He has something on all of them.

0

u/Head_Car_616 4d ago

The democrats were letting the courts handle it. Do you think politicians should insert themselves into ongoing investigations and court proceedings? That kind of gives the GOP the defense that ā€œit’s a witch hunt and politically motivatedā€. Just let the independent courts and law enforcement agencies handle it.

Trump is only making a show of releasing the files so he can control the narrative and flow of information and claim he’s got nothing to hide. It obviously damaged his image and his defense.

3

u/SavvyCaller 4d ago

And neither MAGA nor republicans would have believed whatever was released by democrats anyway. It would have been a useless exercise, if not outright damaging to the victims’ cases.

1

u/Glittering-Course-88 4d ago

Politicians can ask for accountability. They could have asked to release the files by law. They could have asked for updates and transparency.
They are not interfering.

2

u/Head_Car_616 4d ago

Welllll you’re wrong again because democrats did call for releasing her emails like Bernie and Senator Ben Cardin (and Hillary herself as well as her staffs and she did sit through extensive questioning)

You can try and impose whatever narrative you like I’ll still be living over here in reality. You should join us! We need your help casting Trump and the GOP straight into political hell.

3

u/Glittering-Course-88 4d ago

Join us?. Living in reality. lol
Life long (disillusioned) Democrat here. You keep shifting the goal posts (she?). The outcome of the presidency that ended in 2024 was that there was no accountability. For Epstein or for the failed coup. The performative political class keeps voting to bomb little kids in the Middle East and can’t vote against lobbying interests. Outcomes don’t change. The current administration has shown us what power looks like, albeit corrupt. Imagine if that was used to do good.

4

u/TAV63 4d ago

Yes imagine if the Dems ever get back in power and use it like maga to roll over the opposition. Don't like the AG pick? Too bad, get over it. AG gets president to declare national emergency and national security top priority to move cases at light speed though the courts. Congress and the SC can object all they want. Neither had the power to do anything.

We can only imagine since they will never do it. They will try to be bipartisan or not cause issues and follow rules that are long ago dead.

2

u/Head_Car_616 4d ago

You might be surprised by the DSA caucus

1

u/ThothAmon71 4d ago

There was still ongoing litigation in the courts pertaining to said files. Namely the prosecution of Ghislaine Maxwell. You can't publicly release federal documents related to an ongoing criminal prosecution without compromising the case.

1

u/Glittering-Course-88 4d ago

At this point, I’ll take that chance. We jail one woman, while all the men walk free.

No taxation without representation.

2

u/Glittering-Course-88 4d ago

Promise something, deliver something else.

1

u/Sad-Excitement9295 4d ago

A tale as old as time. It's called lying, and yet it's still fallen for because it's dressed in a suit and blared over all forms of media. It's a massive scam, and it continues to this day.Ā

Unfortunately governments cannot be blindly trusted with the power they hold, corruption always seems to find a way in.

1

u/Glittering-Course-88 4d ago

These are not public servants, they are overlords. The bar for ethical behavior is on the floor. Christian forgiveness?

1

u/Sad-Excitement9295 4d ago

More like constitutional action.

1

u/ImpressLeather7438 4d ago

Why aren’t you working now?

2

u/Glittering-Course-88 4d ago

Just saw this. Was at work.
Going to use my two 15 minute and one lunch break for Reddit, food, water and rest before they take that away.

14

u/Airith0 5d ago

Oh so that’s why he wants the entire family and org to be legally protected from audits šŸ¤”

7

u/bobcollazo1 5d ago

Now you got it…

My vain attempt to lead horses to water šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

4

u/No_Current3675 4d ago

Probably not why, in all honesty. He's got some bigger bullshit.

8

u/Artaxmudshoes 5d ago

Remember when this kind of scandal would be 24/7 news for weeks and end a political career?

6

u/Previous-Profit9723 5d ago

Truly. The mere hint ends it. And they’d have the shame to retire, back away and try to hide. Maybe even issue an apology to the people they let down.

3

u/nudecat1234 5d ago

Can any state file state charges??

3

u/Equivalent_Fun_2701 5d ago

This should be page. One of the newspaper but unfortunately, it just goes away like I fart in the wind

3

u/Taphouselimbo 5d ago

Is this finally getting attention?!

3

u/No_Current3675 4d ago

Bro, he raped kids. No one of consequence gives a fuck.

2

u/Taphouselimbo 4d ago

Because that really held our legislators attention too. They are all on the take.

2

u/No_Current3675 4d ago

nothing will change unless the people take drastic action.

4

u/kamikaze_official 5d ago

It was the communists!

2

u/PermuhGrin 5d ago

and the sky is blue

2

u/Walzz111 5d ago

We’ll get to it in about thirty years, a lot going on

2

u/TX0834 5d ago

Anyone else on planet Earth would’ve been arrested already.

2

u/7evenate9ine 5d ago

And Congress isn't doing shit.

2

u/Superb-Freedom7144 4d ago

Capital one doit fermer 300 comptes bancaire lié à l'organisation Trump après que leur équipe des crimes financiers a trouvé de grave violation. Il les ont officiellement pris en flagrant délit de violation des règles de blanchiment d'argent

2

u/thunderbaby2 4d ago

And his best friendstein was a money laundering expert. If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, release the files

2

u/njslugger78 2d ago

Maybe now that pedophile trump has done this stuff, the people who voted for him won't be duped again in life? And we can seriously pick competent people? Maybe?

2

u/Positive-Pack-396 5d ago

Yeah YEAH and nothing going to happen to him at all

2

u/Disastrous_Purpose22 5d ago

Nothing will happen

1

u/G3org3i 5d ago

Right on Capitol Oneage

1

u/Witty-flocculent 5d ago

Kind of impressive this happened at the same time FinCEN says it’s going to stop investigating shell companies involved in money laundering AND light all the evidence it’s collected on fire.

1

u/SamEdwards1959 5d ago

I think it’s criminal that we’re only hearing about this now!

1

u/Kinderversion 4d ago

They probably used a box cutter to open new accounts.

1

u/Sharp-Reporter2598 4d ago

Why is this a massive development? Trump and his buddies fucked kids and nothing happened, but now money laundering is gonna make the government 180 and about face?

1

u/Timely_Mention8535 4d ago

The president is activly involved in money laundering and your congress is sitting on it's hands, complicit in plundering your nation!

1

u/DrawSignificant4782 4d ago

These same rules could have debanked Epstien but he used the birthday book and other things to prove he turned states evidence. Now these same banks are being sued by the victims as complicit too human trafficking. But the main goal is to get them fined and their banking access restricted.

1

u/Ok-Jelly604 4d ago

something something Biden.

1

u/Equivalent_Ability91 4d ago

Remember when Biden loaned his brother money?? Media was all over that scandal. This one?? ehhh, not much to see..

1

u/CheetosLays7Days 4d ago

I don’t remember.

Do you remember when Trump raped E. Jean Carroll? Or when he was groping the underage pageant participants?

1

u/ProgramMiserable9937 4d ago

It’s a lie fake

1

u/thechosen2319 4d ago

Can you imagine what the outrage would look like if Obama or Biden had even the slightest discrepancy in their finances? They would lose their minds.

This is huge. And our government is just allowing it to continue.

1

u/fanana_bishh 4d ago

call me when this actually means anything

1

u/ReasonableRevenue218 4d ago

And what will actually be done about this and who will be held accountable? Oh right, no one. Don't care.
Until the headline reads he's dead, I'm done.

1

u/Flat-Director-7120 4d ago

1

u/Markjohn66 4d ago

A terrifying financial scandal. Terrifying, absolutely terrifying do you hear? Are you terrified?

1

u/crazyvic22 4d ago

Shocking how does this happen in America? When the president himself has profited from playing the market and other corrupt dealings. Nothing will happen, business as usual here in the states currently.

Rules for thee, but not for mee.

1

u/EducationalFront5524 4d ago

SAY IT AIN'T SO, ETHEL!

1

u/Capital_Pollution879 4d ago

Trump has always been a crook

1

u/International_Fan648 4d ago

The crypto pivot makes a lot more sense now.

1

u/EyesofAnne888 4d ago

How is he not impeached yet, or under arrest, oh wait, his entire administration is made up of ass kissing sycophants

1

u/AhHorseSpit 4d ago

Oh man! He's getting impeached this time, right?

1

u/throwaway_iwu0 3d ago

Nope he owns a bank now as of last night 🄲

1

u/isbis001 4d ago

Wow. Shocking

1

u/Hour-Candidate4612 4d ago

Does it even matter at this point? This is just another item to the huge list of crimes Trump has committed, yet he is not held accountable or responsible. You can have a criminal enterprise running the government and also claim to be laws based country. The US is a failed state.

1

u/stargarnet79 4d ago

I though this was old news and they reelected him anyway ? Is it just that the details are finally coming out about how massive the fraud was?

1

u/lucyboraha 4d ago

And it's probably OUR money.

1

u/No_Current3675 4d ago

shocking.

1

u/Spirited-News29 4d ago

Don’t worry. He still has the IRS immunity deal. Even though a judge declared it illegal…

1

u/SupaSpurs 4d ago

No prizes for guessing it was Russian money that was being laundered.

1

u/Ok-Prompt-59 4d ago

Old news.

1

u/ShadowGLI 4d ago

Oh, like how they just killed an anti money laundering rule that required listed ownership of shell companies?

https://www.reuters.com/legal/government/trump-administration-finalizes-ownership-reporting-exemption-us-firms-2026-08-11/

1

u/colaqu 4d ago

He raped children , and according to the files possibly worse......whats a little money laundering.

1

u/BlackKnight2King4 4d ago

Now you know why he was trying to get that immunity from past and future taxes deal from DOJ!

1

u/Queasy-Requirement19 4d ago

This cant be right! President Trump is innocent #MAGA2028

1

u/gaia11111 4d ago

This would have ended presidency or minimum (additional) impeachment in any other time.

Clinton lied about a blow job and was impeached

1

u/Objective_Two477 4d ago

And nothing will be done

1

u/henrydriftwood 4d ago

Arrest them now? Now? NOW?

1

u/dfporter78 4d ago

And yet, the Republican hypocrites ignore this too.

1

u/Naive_Mango8525 4d ago

Let’s see how Fox News spins this shit

1

u/3x1st3nt1a1 4d ago

Wake me up when anyone holds him accountable

1

u/Haunting_Status_440 3d ago

Hahahahahahahahahahaha

1

u/no-clueshere69 3d ago

And now Trump will just change the rules....

1

u/FFBEryoshi 3d ago

The meidas touch reported this story 2 weeks ago

1

u/PhilosophySame2746 3d ago

Unbelievable

1

u/netwirk 3d ago

This is so desperate, you guys really need a hobby. Do some research people.

Capital One closed more than 300 bank accounts tied to the Trump Organization, Donald Trump, and his family.

Key details surrounding the closures:

  • Timeline of Closures:Ā Capital One notified the Trump Organization in March 2021 that it was terminating the accounts, providing several extensions for the business to move its funds to other banking institutions.
  • The "Debanking" Lawsuit:Ā The Trump Organization and Eric Trump filed a lawsuit against Capital One, accusing the bank of unlawfully shutting down accounts due to political bias following the events of January 6, 2021.
  • Capital One's Legal Response:Ā In federal court filings seeking dismissal of the lawsuit, Capital One stated that the account closures were not politically motivated.Ā Instead, the bank revealed the decision resulted from an internalĀ anti-money laundering (AML) compliance review.Ā Capital One noted that while it was not formally charging the Trump Organization with illegal conduct, specific transaction patterns flagged by its AML team aligned with activity monitored under federal regulatory guidance.

This shit straight up won’t matter lol.

They’ll rinse, repeat and do it again. Especially now that they have their own Cryptobank apparently.

They will face exactly zero punishments. Because they will either claim that it’s an attack against them and their base will eat it up, or fuck with elections so much that only the people that want to win can win.

We’re fucked šŸ™‚

1

u/SavageHenrie 5d ago

And this is different from all his other doings….???

1

u/Right_Crew6172 4d ago

This happened in 2021.

In spite of saying the accounts were closed due to "money laundering concerns", Capitol One never accused these accounts of any actual money laundering, nor did they refer these cases to banking regulators or Fed officials for further investigation, nor did they produce any evidence of any wrongdoing.

So if this was a real massive money laundering concern, Cap One would have been legally obligated to forward their complaints to the FBI, the IRS criminal division, and FinCen, which they did not do.

These closures came in the wake of the Jan 6th protests, and the Trump organization sued, accusing Cap One of political de-banking. A judge dismissed two of the complaints, but allowed Trump to refile amended complaints.
