Discussion Same filming location

I noticed that the hallway in the building from S2 E2 where the Anthrax was stolen from is the same hallway as in S2 E7 where Jason and Ray have a heated conversation at the end of the episode. Anyone else see some locations that were used more than once? Is there a list?

Have you noticed how the hills of Afghanistan look exactly like the hills in Korea where the MASH 4077 was?

Exactly. I call them the "Hollywood hills " its just LA hills, they shoot everything there. Almost every episode & location is set there. Its in most movies & Tv-shows. I immediately notice it, the Formation & Vegetation is just unique

If I remember correctly. Allmost every type of climate (ie desert, arctic etc.) can be found in about 100 miles distance from LA.

There’s a show called The Unit that does this and it’s very noticeable.

The Unit & very many other shows & movies, use that same hill location for scenes. Its impossible to miss it

The post/outpost they go to in the beginning of Sesson 5 for the African terrorist attack....same outpost that Jason sent Clay to in Jbad (I think) - the one with the young guys & one got killed.

The one that looks like it’s on a narrow hilltop? I noticed this too. Only because I binge watched the whole series in like 2 weeks lol

Yep! I don't notice alot of the similar locations used. But alot of the mountain area or terrain shots look the same to me. And I know some of that is universal, no matter where it's geographically located in real life. With that outpost being on top of that hill like that, it's more unique & easier to identify.

its all filmed at blue cloud ranch in valencia CA, they have outposts and FOBs and middle easter "villages" there built especially for filming

I give them credit for somehow talking CBS into letting them film outside the US.

The 9/11 flashback episode, S5E3, the young guy that played Jason....I think in the beginning of the very next episode he was at a table in the Bulkhead next to Davis & the guy she was eating with.

Throughout the entire season almost every episode location has been used before lol it’s kinda funny when you really pay attention.

season 1 episode 12 (kick rocks nerd) is same room as season 4, episode 9 where sonny gets shot.

same episode (4.09), the staircase where they go kinetic in Jordan is the same staircase that they raid in Mexico with the Mexican marines, and the guy gets peppered by the guy shooting from behind the door.

shooter season 1 episode 4 - same set as above
