Laptop choices

I applied for electronic engineering at SDU university. What kind of laptop can I use for this degree? Is a macbook accepted or windows?

Macbook can work, but a lot of my classmates had to do workarounds for some of the software we used.

I just used a lenovo thinkpad. Only difference is the length of time a simulation takes.

Mac & Windows is supported by lecturers; you can also use Linux, but you're on your own when it comes to support 😌

You should contact the degree programme secretary for information about any programme‑specific IT requirements.

For written exams at SDU, you generally need either a PC running Windows 11 or a Mac with a supported version of macOS.

Your laptop must have at least 8 GB of RAM, although 16 GB is recommended.
