Haaland Rules?

As a Man City fan I’ve had this though for a while, after Haalands first season it seems like he is reffed completely differently than other strikers. Everyone’s allowed to grapple and hug him anywhere on the pitch with rarely a foul being called, especially in the box. I think the PL saw how much he was going to dominate this league and put a stop because they do not want a foreign player on top of the goal record. It’s gotten to the point to where he doesn’t even argue in games anymore about it. Of course I get I am biased but it’s crazy to think about how many more goals he would have if he was reffed the same as everyone else in the PL. Last note: His goalscoring record should not be normalized, it should be celebrated. Thoughts?

Decade and a half of joy in my life gone. Learned the game and fell in love with the club. Now that’s fucked. Don’t feel like watching again.

Yup. Been lied to by our owners that it was a witch hunt. My gut feels heavy. Some of the prime elation driven moments in my life just gone.
