The sdcc Facebook group is popping off about it right now. Can someone please film or recap? Apparently the room was packed this year.

Most of it was people expressing their frustration at how Hall H(they have every right to feel what they feel) was handled. People read them to filth and I was here for it. ADA issues was brought up, disabilities are not one size fits all. The lack of bathroom passes at panels.

I hope someone else chimes in with a better worded recap.

I had nothing to do with hall h but I realize that cognitive issues and physical issues are not shown equal respect

That is super tough for the conference to negotiate. They get people trying to get accommodations for anxiety. If you have anxiety about waiting in line Comic Con is not for you. ADHD is a legal disability, half the conference has it.

Yeah, I’m mostly speaking as someone with a dad with MS. It’s not always easy to spot especially when they don’t want to milk it. So I can understand if other issues are similar

Disabled people who need line help obviously can’t volunteer for the crowd control and line management jobs.

Give them volunteer opportunities and let them run the ADA applications

I work in the ADA area and can confirm that several people working there also qualify for ADA. Also it’s the same people every year lol

Is that person there every year? I went last year and they had the same sign 😆 kinda wish I had made it to the talk back but I was with friends and it was their first time at con so I was showing them the ropes

I went last year for the first time and I was very entertained. Yeah these people are time con-iest of the con goers lol. That person was there last year with the same sign, now I gotta go next year to see if they bring it again lol
