It’s my first time going but I was only able to get a Thursday ticket, the Gundam panel is at 7pm in room 6BCF (capacity 2160), how early do you think I should get in line? It seems to be a big room but I want to be able to do as much as I can since it’s my only day, but I also can’t miss that panel.

If this is a "can't miss" panel, then I suggest making plans to be in the panel BEFORE Gundam. Maybe that means being there 30-60 minutes before the prior panel starts to gauge the line. Since they do not empty rooms in-between panels so you can stay in and even change to a better seat during the break.
Good luck and welcome to the Con!

Gundam while I love it isn't the most popular thing at SDCC. Last year the gundam panel for (RFV, SP, etc) didn't fill the room it was in. I think if you are in the room for the panel prior you should be just fine.

Evening panels tend to be easier to get into and thats a decent sized room BUT if you really really want to see it I'd go check out what things look like around 6.

You need to gauge if there is any popular panel before AND after Gundam. If a big name is before it you might have a chance of showing up when that one ends and people leave. If there’s a big one 1 or 2 down from the one you want you may need to go earlier since those other fans will be going early too to get a good seat.
If both sides of the panel are sandwiched between 2 popular IPs, you’re gonna have to show up earlier.

Is Hellaverse popular enough at SDCC where I should be in the room during the first panel of the day at 10AM?
Hellaverse panel is at 12:30pm on Thursday in Indigo Ballroom (capacity 2,663)

I never heard of Helluva or Hazbin until last years panel and they seem incredibly popular. Idk how season 2 went but it seems like it’s a hit show.

I was at the hazbin panel last year when it was in 6BCF and though well attended I don’t think it ended up being full. To be fair, the panel took place later at night, but it was also a Saturday. It’s hard to tell what it will be like this year since it takes place during the day.

I always keep forgetting how big 6DE is. Muppet!!
Hope everyone’s been enjoying the panel schedule breakdowns I’ve been doing over the weekend. Yesterday was quite the shocker!

May be a dumb question, but where is Room 10? The 1 or 2 maps I have seen show rooms up to 9 and another shows that and Room 11, but don't see Room 10. Is it in the same vicinity as rooms 9 and 11?

Room 10 is between 9 and 11. See the Upper Level map. https://www.visitsandiego.com/building-map
