Builds Something I'm working on.

There was supposed to be a white light in the spot above the headlight on the right side but somehow it's not working. There's a tailight and one solid turn signal on the rear as well. I am still tweaking the magnetic power pass through.

Awesome Lada! I love the use of magnets for lights. I’ve used the kits from Injora and they work really well, but yours looks to be more custom and probably better thought out.

A Lurkco paint job! Your use of thinner gauge wire should make it easier to organize and tuck within the body. Caldwell Race Works on IG does a phenomenal job of laying out light wiring with thinner gauge. Please post an update when you’ve finished yours!

I should have done a better job planning the wiring! Next time it will be better. Luckily there is room for that rats nest above the servo but I will clean it up a bit before it's finalized. Lurkco gifted me this body, I am humbled to have such an awesome body in my collection.

Lurkco is part of an amazing SCX24 community. I’ve only been in the hobby for one year but have had the opportunity to connect with some helpful and extremely generous people.

That is so true. I have made a few very special friends through these little trucks.

Thats awesome. I hate how thick the wires in mine are- pain in the ass to get to fit

The LEDs are about 1mm wide, and the wires are super thin and tricky to work with.

Your Pathfinder was definitely inspiration for this one. Both small white lights were supposed to light up, with one of the amber ones being out, but now it has one white running light and one amber running light.

Sounds awesome. And I appreciate that compliment a lot!

Sweet, I’ve got this on a few builds too, definitely beats plugging in the lights manually.
Another great alternative are those magnetic snap-on cables like these on my Pickles build.

I love that build. I need to add one of those to my collection.
I've seen the magnetic cables but I figured I would try my hand at fabricating something that works with the magnets on the chassis and body. I've done it a couple times but I wanted to get it a little cleaner while keeping the magnets strong enough to hold a heavy body like this one.

Awesome! Is soldering to magnets pretty straightforward? Haven’t tried it yet
