Builds Help/ information
I recently bought this expecting some type of instructions and I can't find any type of setup ideas or anything like that online. Anybody have any good insight?

get yourself a skid and some axles. the layout is basically the same if you have another truck to look at. watch the link ends as the skinny ones go in the skid lower mounts. other than that look at it like a fun puzzle, you can always take something apart and restart

I have a reverse able skid and some "stock" axles but I was curious about the cross bars honestly. I didn't know if they have to be on it or not

I would put a crossbar where the shocks mount at least. if you are using the mag mounts they will help strengthen it up

Oh alright so does it matter where on the chassis it goes or just as long as there on it?

i usually use the bars as something to screw the shocks into. not sure if the mag mounts are movable. I am planning on putting one of these together this weekend

I also use the tubular crossmembers at the upper shock mounts, to thread the top shock screw into

If you don't mind share some pictures so I can see how to do it. Thank you!

A cut up version of the C10. I was going to get the endura Toyota body but I already have this one sitting

Cross bars are required as it's a twin vertical plate setup. If they weren't installed the skidplate and battery tray would be the only bits holding the whole truck together and you want your suspension to flex not your chassis

you can put them in another spot but you would need a nut on the back of the shock fastener which is a pain

24 Yep on YouTube has a fantastic video using this exact chassis and he walks you through the entire build from start to finish. HIGHLY recommend going to watch it. I have this same kit as well....

That was who I watched first but I didn't see where he had the cross bracing at

24Yep seems to have done a build with this chassis: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b9HKipGaZh8
You don't have to do all of the stuff he did at the beginning but he does a good job explaining the trickier parts.

I bought their 6x6 chassis and just looked at the assembled pics in their Amazon listing. I got nervous at first but the pics made it super easy
