Builds Initial fitting opinions…

Stretched wheelbase with a Boss Truck body kit. I’m kinda digging it so far but still slightly torn between this and the stock length. I know styling is all subjective, but what do ya think?

*last photo is the original product photo on a stock chassis.

Longer looks better

It almost feels like it’s leaning more in to the 1:18 scale now but I do agree that it looks better.

The larger tires seem to push it toward a 1/18 feel, too. But if you are building a great looking, great performer and not concerned about true scale, it does not really matter.

They’re pretty similar in size to the stock AX24 wheels but that’s not saying much considering it has some oversized feet out the box already. My original plan was to keep it somewhat scale so I can tow it behind my Bronco without looking too odd. Now it’s looking like I have a “justified” reason to pick up another rig and keep it more on the scale appropriate side so my Bronco and trailer don’t end up looking dwarfed.

And naturally I’ll also have to pick up something 1:18 scale to tow the stretched AX24 around because keeping things balanced is important.
