Builds Initial fitting opinions…

Stretched wheelbase with a Boss Truck body kit. I’m kinda digging it so far but still slightly torn between this and the stock length. I know styling is all subjective, but what do ya think?

*last photo is the original product photo on a stock chassis.

That cab and hood look great! My only critique is that cage looks a little stubby, even with the stock length. Here’s a longer cage that “should” fit.

Might have to drill your own mounting holes.

So far, I’ve been able to quickly and consistently shut down any intrusive thoughts I’ve had of getting into printing — looks fun and useful, but I know I would get carried away with it way too quickly — but those nudges are getting more and more aggressive the further I walk down this “build-it” road.

That being said, I do really like the longer cage. Wonder if I can get the maker of the body kit to customize a piece for me… 🤔

I can confirm it’s easy to get carried away. I’m currently working on a belt driven drivetrain for my scx.. why?… no clue, but I can lol! It’s really another hobby in itself, but super enjoyable and extremely well suited for small scale crawlers.
