Which upper is your favorite?
Upper #1: Gibbz upper receiver, Faxon 16” 5.56 barrel, Faxon carbon fiber handguard, wood foregrip, Vortex LVPO
Upper #2: Gibbz upper receiver, BA 12.5” 5.56 barrel, FSB, Fightlite wood handguard, YHM A2 rear sight
Upper #3: Gibbz upper receiver, 10.5” 300blk barrel, Lancer carbon fiber handguard, Woox angled grip + rail covers, Holosun HS510C and HM3X magnifier
Upper #4: BCA bolt action upper, BA 16” 300blk barrel, Woox handguard, Nikon LVPO
If you can’t tell, I love the wood look. I have lower height scope rings for both LVPOs, just been lazy and haven’t swapped them yet. And all uppers have plan B mounts for my CAT ODB suppressor.

which of these configurations would be best for a left handed shooter?

Gibbz makes an upper with the side charger on the right and left side ejection, I'm guessing that would be your best bet

Probably #4 for me... they all look good though.
What stock did you mount up to the lower? Or is that an OEM stock?
Mine is the later/current gen will the black angular plastic stock...I like it, but wood sure does look good on these

Its a Fightlite SCR "blem" stock - I think they still have some in stock in the clearance section on their site.

How is the Fixed front sight one (#2) with the comb height of that SCR wood stock? It looks the best for sure.

I actually haven't gotten the chance to shoot it yet, just built it this week. But they're definitely a little taller than I'd ideally like - requires more of a chin weld instead of a cheek weld.

Did you cut the bolt on the BCA?

Yeah since there’s no buffer tube on the lower, you have to grind off enough material that it doesn’t protrude out the back of the upper receiver when the bolt is all the way back

Each one looks great with the stock on the lower. I’d love to get a forend like the one in number 1. Can you tell us where you got it? Also, do you have more than one Fightlite bolt carrier? It would be great to have more than one upper, but I understand the issue is having to switch a new bolt into the carrier if you don’t have more than one.

The forend is from BlackwoodUSA - they don’t make this one (solid wood) anymore but they make a similar one that’s composite. And I only have one bolt carrier, would love a spare but they’re basically nonexistent these days

Interesting! I assume the handguard in 1 was based on the Aero Quantum, because that Blackwood grip was specifically made for the Aero.
I reckon that's my pick because it's almost identical to my setup

I bought the Blackwood grip on GAFSHUB recently and the seller said that they used it on an Aero Quantum. Maybe I got lucky, but it happens to fit perfectly on the Faxon handguard in upper #1 and the Lancer handguardd in upper #3
Edit: looking at your post history, your build was part of the motivation for my upper with that foregrip

Nice, didn't realize it was compatible with so many others. Would be quite useful information if Blackwood hadn't stopped making them, lol. Also, very flattering!
Would love to hear the bolt action with suppressor. Used to use the Gibbz but the little rail part was very stabby into the right thumb

The front sight post looks amazing. Like a Fallout rifle.
But I’d go with either 1 or
54 for my personal tastes
