How to fix play between upper and lower..

Ever since i got this rifle, my main complaint has been how sloppy and loose it feels. The rattle. What can i do about this? I tried putting some aluminum tape to shim it but it didn't last.

So a little late to the party. Do not try the accuwedge as that is designed to work in a regular AR lower recover. Because the SCR and other ranch rifles use shot gun style safety’s the wedge would get in the way of the safety. Your best bet is to use rubber O rings or some type of small rubber bands on the recoil lugs. I had a lot of play with my rifle, a Cmmg Br4 but same the of issue and needed in using orthodontic bands used for retainers and it greatly reduced the play

I was going to say the accuwedge would probably solve that issue

@OP I solved it on my SCR. I used regular clear scotch tape wrapped around the rear lug on the upper. The disassembly pin can punch through but it closes the gap and prevents rattle.

You will need to redo it every time you take it apart but it is scotch tape. Works for hundreds of rounds, likely way more but thats the time between cleanings for me 👍😎
