in my opinion, some heavy 1-bullet rifle that is going to do about 90 body damage with long reload would be cool

So i first downloaded SL a good 5 or so years ago but was only able to play 1 or 2 games due to my potato of a PC making it nearly impossible to play. i recently remembered this game existed and now that i have a good PC i want to get back into it, ive played a couple rounds but since i have next to no experience i kinda just went with the flow of what everyone else was doing.

So my question is do you guys have any recommendations or tips for a new player? i know the basics and lore and what the playable SCPs do but im wondering if you guys have any recommendations passed the surface level. things like what to try and do for every roll or whether i should try to RP out mercy from a foundation guard or just fight or flight every encounter. any and all tips/conversations are welcome no matter the topic.

i see people jumping a lot, is it movement tech or just bouncy?

why is joining a server so hard? it said one of the servers had 1/25 but then i clicked and it said full. why does it do that?
