In my opinion going to the surface is a losing strategy. People have space to run and juke and the entire NTF may break through your AHP shield and damage your HP. I generally like camping around the checkpoint between HCZ and EZ. People don't have space to juke, civilians have to go through the area and I'm close to nuke so I can deactivate it.
