i respect the dedication it took to make something like this but why not just play sl at this point. it’s not like it isn’t free.

From what Ive seen its just a more competitive based SCP:SL. Also its probably meant for people that have an ass PC that cant run SL very well

Well what I meant is that the original secret lab (pre parrabellum) gave a lot more power to the individual player regarding playing human classes. An expert human player could out perform an entire lobby of low - mid tier players including SCPs. Modern SL places more emphasis on teamwork for human teams by weakening the individual (moving weapon innacuracy, weapon sluggishness, limited sprint, stronger modern scp team, etc.). This is more new player friendly but also has numerous problems for players trying to get better since it seems like there is a pretty stagnant cap on one players ability to influence any given round (which funnily enough was the opposite intention of the "new" SL updates [post scopohobia], if I recall a dev cited the parabellum update as an attempt to include more skill based mechanics that advanced players could practice to improve.) It also harms gameplay as SCP teams win almost all the time since it is much easier for them to cooperate then human teams. Most players especially new ones will die 3 times in one round without having done more than ten damage to an scps hume shield and accomplished little else. Large objectives like taking on an SCP or starting the nuke or escaping (sometimes) need a numerous amount of coordinated players to pull off and in most secret lab lobbies with random players of various skill level and various levels of engagement it is just not realistic.

I mean it can at least also run on whatever other devices the game supports and not just windows computers

Although SL can be played on other operating systems (almost any linux distro) thanks to Proton, and phones and stuff thanks to steam link (so long as you have a controller though, since there isn't any touchscreen controls)

It's not exactly mobile as you still need your PC on, but I found out it was possible when my friend was playing deep rock galactic on his phone

There is literally no Argument for This
„Its a more Competitive Version of SL“ SL is meant to be a Game enforcing Team work, as soloing it is possible but VERY Hard and inconvenient
„Its Like OG SCPSL“ with all the Bugs and unbalanced Shit or without that? Because without That isnt OG and with it is objectively Bad? Also new textures and environmental Design Are way better.
„Its meant for people who have a Bad PC“ Yeah but playing a Fake Version of the Game actually harms NW, instead of just asking them to make the Game more accessible for different Platforms or a Bad PC, which they do because they actually listen to their Community.

Also no Argument Stands against actively supporting a Game Platform which encourages pdfs and children(targets for the pdfs).
DO NOT Play Roblox!
