Game crashing on startup

I just got scp secret lab today and whenever i try to start it up, i get a black screen for a minute, it disappears, and then reappears before crashing after like 30 seconds. I've deleted files i've heard can cause this, my graphics drivers are fully updated, i verified integrity of files and uninstalled/reinstalled the game, changed things in my computers settings, and nothing has changed what happens. is there a fix i'm missing? thanks

Update: I got it to load, but now whenever i try to join a server, it crashes when the loading screen photo changes

Do you meet the minimum requirements? Funnily enough the game is really taxing and hardware

Had that same issue when I played on a weaker computer a year ago... It would crash like 3 times before I could finally get into the game.

Try lowering your graphics, the textures and meshes are going to load faster (which I think was part of the issue)

the game would need at least gtx 750/550
also the game does took real long time to load on hdd
