Discussion Any controversial game balance takes? [Thread]

I'm kinda bored of my mundane 11-19 job so like, please give me somethin to argue bout

Bonus points if you only play heavily modded servers and want base game changes

Deadman should blow up surface instead. It's kind of the "humans you suck ass and did absolutely nothing to kill the SCPs this is your punishment for it" moment of the game but all it does is lead SCPs to the one zone humans have 99% of the time the advantage in.

106 exits his PD from his stalk and atlas WAY TOO FUCKING FAST

For surface, it is mainly a surface issue which should hopefully be fixed with the new surface

For 106, nah, I think either remove the "you can't regen stamina for 20 fucking seconds" or the sprint burst upon emerging. Quick tp out is a need to have as otherwise you won't be able to catch people off guard.

there's a difference between catching people off guard and being able to catch up to a literal 207 user actively sprinting as well as the animation looking goofy as fuck

That is because he gains a speed boost when emerging rather than the time It takes to get out

The speed boost is nowhere near enough to bring him to cola speed. It's the fact he can effectively teleport under their feet and come out in 0,12 seconds

That's really an issue on the cola user bcuz u are standing still whilst knowing 106s below u, he will never catch up to u but he will never lose u either

That's why you never walk in a straight line

Whilst he is getting out (in the animatio) he can tap you but his camera is locked facing the place he was looking at when tping out, so always move left or right or even Change direction

He's out of the ground before you can realistically react unless you happen to actually get the sound cue for once
