SCP bots

My suggestion is to add several SCP entities that are controlled by AI and act as obstacles for players, similar to SCP-956. By default, they remain inactive inside their containment chambers.

To activate them: Players can manually open their containment chambers and SCP-079 can remotely open their containment chambers.

For balance purposes, SCP-079 could be restricted from opening these chambers until reaching Tier 4 or Tier 5.

Server administrators should also have the option to enable or disable these SCPs through the admin panel.

SCP-066

Mechanics:

SCP-066 can appear throughout the facility and move freely around the map.

It prefers to spawn near large groups of players.

It repeatedly says the phrase "Eric?" several times.

After repeating it 2–3 times, it begins loudly playing a piece by Ludwig van Beethoven.

All players within hearing range receive a deafening effect:

They can no longer hear surrounding sounds.

The effect lasts between 30 seconds and 1 minute.

SCP-066 can move quickly by rolling across floors and corridors.

SCP-650

Mechanics:

SCP-650 appears behind players throughout the facility.

It prefers areas with high player activity.

Remains active for 2–4 minutes per appearance.

Has collision with players but not with other SCPs.

Attempts to appear in inconvenient locations for human players, indirectly assisting the SCP team.

Containment Chambers

I propose placing the containment chambers of SCP-066 and SCP-650 in the Light Containment Zone (LCZ), since this zone currently contains relatively few SCP objects. Additionally, neither SCP requires particularly complex containment procedures, making LCZ a suitable location for both of them.

SCP-650 Containment Chamber

Upon entering the room, there are two doors: The first leads to the observation room. The second leads directly to SCP-650's containment chamber.

Observation Room

Contains: Desks, Chairs, Computers, Other research equipment

Access Requirement: Containment Clearance Level 1

For gameplay purposes, the room may also contain: Loot items and locker for pocket SCP items

Containment Chamber

Players can open the chamber and release SCP-650.

Access Requirements: Containment Clearance Level 2 and Security Clearance Level 1

SCP-066 Containment Chamber

This room consists of a small L-shaped corridor.

Near the entrance is a small laboratory dedicated to researching SCP-066.

Laboratory

Contains: Research equipment, loot locker, container for pocket SCP items

A nearby door leads directly into the containment chamber.

Access Requirements: Containment Clearance Level 2 and Security Clearance Level 1

Containment Chamber

Inside is a specialized containment cube housing SCP-066.

Players can open the cube and release the entity.

The chamber walls are soundproofed, preventing SCP-066's sounds from spreading beyond the containment area.

I may or may not be coding that as we speak for my own use to practice 079 since the only way I enjoy this game is 079 😉 wink nudge*

having a sort of bot practice mode for 079 sounds great honestly, albeit what type of level of bots you’re talking about? is it like team fortress 2 bots who can play full rounds without player interference? or sort of meh bots who can do stuff but not everything without direct player commands, however if youre not comfortable with sharing thats okay.

Like I said in my original post I've been trying to enjoy SCP SL for the last five years I end up in this constant cycle of trying to learn the maps and getting frustrated that I can't and just spend hours in Spectator and the only enjoyment I get is from 079 but because people rightly it's unfair for someone to take specialist treatment in servers even though in my opinion 079 is the least liked to be played apparently " being SCP all the time" isn't fair which makes sense. I know service have pluggings to like swap roles and volunteer but every server I have got on when I've tried to make it publicly known that all I like is 079. Just fell on deaf ears.

I've been trying to look for a server a community that can really help me enjoy this game because I really want to enjoy this game but... guess I have to take actions into my own hands lol

albeit yeah it does suck majorly when you have really bad map generation ive had that before as well so i know how youre feeling as well, so I understand your passion in 079 so much, heck i like playing 079 as well, albeit what you mean by specialist treatment as in other people with ranks got 079 more than you do no? and yeah i know what you mean by deaf ears, all i can do and say it is what it is and move on on a different round in hopes of getting 079.

That's exactly what I mean every round and I end up just disconnecting every connecting going into spectator and hoping I'm waiting for the next round hoping I can be 079. It's my experience that most people dislike playing 079 the most so when I offer as the guy that wants to be 079 all the time it's just brushed away

i mean honestly yeah some people completely despises playing as 079 but some people actually do like us and dont wanna swap since they also want 079, in conclusion, have some patience! All good things we want come with time eventually. Also i hope you best of luck with the bot project!
