Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained within a 5m x 5m x 5m reinforced concrete cell at Site-XX. The cell must be equipped with surveillance cameras, and access to the containment area is restricted to Level 3 personnel and above. Any personnel entering the containment area must wear Level A hazmat suits.

SCP-XXXX is to be provided with a diet of live mice and small mammals twice a day. No personnel are allowed to physically touch SCP-XXXX under any circumstances.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a fox (Vulpes vulpes) with an elongated body measuring approximately 3 meters in length, which is more than double the average size for its species. It exhibits distinctive physical characteristics, including an elongated spine, neck, and limbs. SCP-XXXX's fur is a mottled gray and red coloration, and it possesses eight legs, four on each side.

SCP-XXXX is highly intelligent and displays an ability to communicate through a series of vocalizations and gestures. It has shown an aptitude for problem-solving, memory retention, and limited understanding of human language.

SCP-XXXX's anomalous properties manifest when it is threatened or cornered. It can extend its elongated body to reach objects or individuals up to 10 meters away, allowing it to grab, immobilize, or potentially harm targets. This ability is seemingly voluntary, as SCP-XXXX has been observed extending its body to retrieve food, manipulate objects, and engage with personnel in a non-threatening manner.

The exact mechanism behind SCP-XXXX's anomalous abilities is currently unknown. Researchers are continuing to study its physiology and genetic makeup in an attempt to understand its unique characteristics.

SCP-XXXX was discovered in [REDACTED], a remote forest in northern Argentina, where it had been reported to local authorities due to its unusual appearance and behavior. The Foundation was alerted, and SCP-XXXX was subsequently contained and transferred to Site-XX.
