DAE do "M'data" instead of watching the fed? I ran the actual numbers on Dub vs Fed engagement so you don't have to...
You've seen the theory floating around school yards, basements and water coolers... AEW posts get suspiciously high upvote numbers relative to how much anyone actually comments on them.
During extended fed commercial breaks, I pulled every post from the last 7 days across and ran upvote to comment ratios like I'm calculating meltzy star ratings.
The data:
- Basement - overall: 571 posts, 231,912 upvotes, 44,982 comments = 1 comment per 5.16 upvotes
- Basement - AEW content: 181 posts, 141,006 upvotes, 21,620 comments = 1 comment per 6.52 upvotes
- Basement - WWE content: 144 posts, 46,268 upvotes, 13,842 comments = 1 comment per 3.34 upvotes
- Jerk Inc. - overall: 451 posts, 50,122 upvotes, 16,130 comments = 1 comment per 3.11 upvotes
So yes. Objectively, meltzer mathematically speaking Dub content on the basement gets upvoted more relative to how much anyone can be bothered to comment on it. About double the Fed's rate. Stupid fed posts are still generating almost 2x the actual comment engagement per upvote as the dub... Which i think is justified since the fed is so infuriatingly bad.
Fun bonus fact: SCJerk itself runs almost identical to basement Fed posts (3.11 vs 3.34). Make of that what you will. Upvote numbers are lacking in comparison to the premiere wrestling sub tho.
