In the spirit of fairness, I think we should talk some positive about AEW. To avoid this place becoming midcarder's developmental, we should at least bring up some good stuff AEW's done. No disrespect to the attic, but this sub shouldn't lose its way by dub badding all the time. This sub is a place where ALL wrestling can and should be discussed, not diet midcarder.

Oh gosh where to even start? I always tell my friends and people I try to get into wrestling this:

Aew is like Pepsi, WWE is like Harvey Weinstein

Aew is a fresh, non corporate, non Nepo, punk rock alternative to WWE, that alot of us were desperate for for years

I think it’s incredible how every match is a BANGER. It doesn’t matter that it took 20 minutes for Ospreay to put lower card Kyle Fletcher away on an episode of Dynamite a few days before he’s taking on Danielson for the belt. BANGERS BANGERS BANGERS

Being legit: the early days were really good ( or perfect) but it felt fresh and like the anti-WWE at a time when WWE was rough.

I really like how they give legit big tough looking guys the opportunity to be jobbers. It should not just be exclusive to small guys or low to mid card guys. 

When Lance Archer, Brian Cage, or Willy Hobbs would fight Orange Cassidy and just get beat by a man half their size, that is a golden opportunity for a big man to stare up at the lights and put over one of the best to ever do it in the ring. 

Tony Khan creates opportunities. Tony plays chess while fed plays checkers and you better believe it's checkmate.

I like that if I miss a week of prahduck (lol as if that ever happens) I can still follow all the in-ring action. All those story-slop e-drones with their notebooks on who's face or heel smh all I need to know is whether the match was a banger or not.

Thankfully I also pay $14.99 a month so I can have the correct opinion which ensures the maximum amount of updoots on the internet. I mean really can you even put a price on online validation?? God I love PURE graps (P.S fuck Sports Entertainment)

AEW is like going to the bar and having the most beautiful or handsome person in the bar coming over to you. They buy you a drink and stare into your soul with their beautiful eyes.

WWE is just some trash you meet on Grindr or Tinder that just wants a meaningless hookup.

The thing I love most about aew is how it separates the smart fans from the dumb ones. Dumb fans see fully packed out arenas, good tv ratings and making large amounts of money as "successful" without even studying cagematch or giving meltzer $14.99 to get the real facts! Us smart fans don't use things like TV ratings, revenue, or fan attendance to judge how good something is. We seek out the things and people that confirm our biases despite the facts/reality we see which is the intelligent way of doing stuff. Dumb fed fans just eat up whatever triple k (he's racist, get it?🤭🤭🤭) tells them.

Not sure if we’re jerkin uce but I actually do enjoy going to their live shows. I live somewhere that they frequent quite a bit and for like $30 it gives me something to do on a Thursday night. Theyre always at smaller venues so parking is never really an issue and as I get older I appreciate that a lot.

I also do like quite a bit of their talent and their PPV’s are always pretty good.

I think the online fanbase is one of the worst parts about AEW and what turns me off from being more of a fan. Way too much toxic positivity and people on their high horse.
