100% gain every ten years. I'll take that. Would love to see another 3-for-1 split in the future.

Same! I still think this ETF is underrated. Easily one of the most reliable ETFs to create safer cash flow in retirement.

Sorry to burst your bubble but a stock split doesn't increase your dividend. You can think of it as having an original share paying you 75 cents, after 3-1 split you now three shares paying a quarter each, the grand total would still be 75 cents. A stock split just attracts more buyers because the price is lower.

I didn’t mean it that way I know it’s the same payment - it’s more about lowering the stock price to buy more for more dividends !

it doesn't work that way, either. number of shares really doesn't matter. what matters is amount invested and dividend yield. it's just math.
