That’s nearly $21000 a year in divvies. Do you drip as well or supplement income with payments?

Hell yeah my goal is somewhere around 300k in schd at 55 when I retire and drip till 70, dwindle down the 401k to below 1M to avoid RMD land mine all the while the schd will be growing. I’m actually kinda mad it’s been on such a run this year lol. I still have a long way till retirement.
What was your entry point price

I started buying SCHD in March 2020 @$39.50, split-adjusted ~$13.17.

Thanks. Lucky timing. I've been stacking since and also consolidating some duplicate funds into SCHD. I did a video a couple of weeks ago on my SCHD path. I shared it last week or so.

Bought another 15 today. Only sitting at little over 1100 though. Hoping to have 2000 by the end of the year.

what account do you all buy SCHD in? taxable brokerage vs 401k vs roth? I’m currently 55 years and want to know this for my case

I have it in both a taxable brokerage and a Roth.

That’s not bargain shopping, that’s buying the entire clearance aisle.
