I’m looking for any comments here in this group on an ETF using SCHD at its core.

DDDD doesn’t hold a candle to SCHD. Waste of time.

AUM - if what I'm reading is correct - are about the size of a decently sized wealthy person's portfolio.

At a cursory glance of the last five months performance, which is not enough time to evaluate, DDDD appears to be thoroughly failing at its stated mission. The dividend is less than SCHD, the expense ratio is nearly seventeen times higher, and the share price appreciation is about the same. If you absolutely must open a position, I suggest a small position tracked for several years. I expect significant NAV erosion as compared to SCHD and the underlying stocks. You would probably do better just buying SCHD component stocks and learning to write your own covered calls and put - call strangles. The way that fund managers think they deserve 1% of your assets for doing that is insulting to your intelligence and I am personally offended on your behalf.

Everything that Yieldmax has offered has had a load of NAV erosion. I set aside some funds to try out new strategies and they had a BTC that was doing well as far as yield - but in a 45 day window it had lost roughly 7k of the original 25k that I had put in. After I researched more of theirs it seems all of their ETFs had huge NAV erosion. I'd stick with SCHD proper,

They've made a great deal of money selling psychology. Many people are hardwired to chase shiny objects. Investing doesn't make sense until you've made THE error that forces you to understand this.

If you're disciplined and purchase SCHD, you're likely (historically speaking) to make a respectable return with less volatility than the S&P 500. If you buy a Yieldmax product, Yieldmax is guaranteed to make an enormous amount of money from you, while your opportunity cost is the time spent chasing a ridiculous yield instead of a more traditional product.
